Does anybody know of a fix for the early shutdown bug on 7.0? Already tried factory reset, safe mode and wiping cache partition. Really don't want to return the device and downgrading would void the warranty

AntoineCG, 03 Apr 2017Hi Today I got the update the Build Number is NPJ25.93-14Which os...7.0 or 7.1.1...pls tell me bro
I have a regular G4. I upgraded to nougat this morning and my keyboard is now missing the shift key and the spacebar. I was able to get around this by enabling the number bar in keyboard preferences. This is not and ideal fix though and the root problem needs to be addressed.

Froz, 01 Apr 2017Not released yet. I think it is an april fool prank.I keep getting an update on my phone it's not an April Fool's joke
But so far everybody who's done the update says it's killing their battery
I'm not doing it
I have a Moto G4 xt1625 and I found that the update would simply fail. It would spend 1/2 hour downloading over WI FI then I could start the installation. The phone would reboot, upgrade process appeared to begin and about 20% of the way in according to the little progress line the green Android Robot down on its back looking as if it has red mark for being shot appeared along with an Update Failed Message. Eventually one could push the power button, hold it and phone would reboot, come back up in Marshmallow and display a larger failure message then proceed to operate as before, with perhaps a few Google Play Services has stopped and other android stopped messages. I tried to clear my cache partition and repeat the update, it still fails.

moto master, 02 Apr 2017i received it on my Moto 4G Plus. Battery is draining way to quickly. Siginificant difference ... moreMy battery is not lasting at all and the rapid charger is not working since I updated my phone. Now it takes hours to charge my phone! Then dies quickly! Even plugged in and running one app it kills my battery! Let me go back!
Phil Schifley, 31 Mar 2017Got the nougat update last night in Austin, TX. I manually searched for updates and found it. ... morePhil, I hope this does fix the bugs, I bought my Moto g 4 plus in July and in September I sent it for repairs because of the ghost touch that would open up application and send texts lol. Of course they made no sense. The phone came back two weeks later and have had the same problem ever since, the problem is the phone overheats and if you put the back light on half way it's fine, however if your outside and it's warm and the sun hits it the ghost comes back. So distracting. With 64 GB I'm not wanting to get rid of my phone just yet, not even a year old. Grr
i received it on my Moto 4G Plus. Battery is draining way to quickly. Siginificant difference compared to the prior version
Battery life was fantastic on 6.0.1, upgraded to 7.0 and immediately had extra battery drain on my G4 Plus. Stay away from Nougat unless there is a reason for you to upgrade, I hope Motorola fixes this quickly. I am so tired of crappy OS versions. Had terrible experience after upgrading Moto X Gen1 phone last year. Smart phones are a PIA. You want to stay current, but the manufacturers are always screwing them up with updates!
Yogesh, 01 Apr 2017I need 7.1.1 update Not released yet. I think it is an april fool prank.
