Ok you have a point and I must agree on this one. However, you must also accept the fact the android is way ahead symbian. Android is much faster, smoother, better looking and most of all the app market is so much richer than symbian.
So the os and the apps+games it offers really plays a major role in it's success. And if you disagree with me, just watch the market share of android it's growing like crazy! It's jumping very fast from quarter to quarter which explains only one thing, that the people like it! Specially people who likes technology, unlike symbian which most of the users are average users, don't you agree?

> In reply to [deleted post]how about i bashing if the informations is true
google has too many versions of android
every new version out
requires a full new phone
most of those phones have limits not cause of android but cause they sell a variety
android uses too much resources to function
that's not bashing at all that's all true info

Exactly brilliant point!! SE bothers to still please the customers even though they are a little late. But Motorola just forget about their older phones and keep them in the dark.
And the good news is that SE will be releasing android 2.3 in their newer phones, so I'm happy for SE because it seems the future is more brighter for them, specially with new playstation phone coming.

And one more thing, don't you think your being an annoying person now? I used to respect you as a person and value your opinions but right now your attitude is just childish.
All you do is come and bash every news related to android! You need to grow up and accept other people's taste. Seriously don't be that guy that has no life other than bashing and annoy people around him, I know your better than that.

Even the worst version of android and ios are miles better than symbian. Symbian is a joke and is considered old fashion, most people who are noobs go for symbian now.
It's strange that you are defending a case that will lose for sure! Dude be real and face reality, android's share is growing like fire, while symbian and nokia are declining.
Just one more thing to be clear, I like nokia, and I like symbian but they are very basic and there is nothing special about them now, let's be real and admit that the future is for andriod, and yes the X10 is way better than the N8 even before being upgraded to Froyo.

> In reply to Jaizuke @ 2010-12-06 22:01 from ID9e - click to readIt's sad if this is going to become a trend among Android handset makers. The Motorola XT720 was launched just 6 months ago and it won't get Froyo while the HTC Wildfire was out longer and was able to get 2.2 even though it's sporting lesser specs.

At least Sony Ericsson bother's rolling out things to everyone, even if they're late. Ex flagship or not. Motorola doesn't even know that they made a phone called the Milestone.
