This update is a con from LG regarding the update to Android 2.3. it's spreading rumours so people buy the phone thinking that they will be able to update it to 2.3 at a later date.
Note: for the last few months the update was due at the end of MAY ( may has gone - where's the update ? )
Now it's the end of June and/or july.... come on people, Wake Up !!

Their are "Unofficial" Updates on the web for the LG Optimus One P500, but the email from LG states that they have no plans to for a "Offical" update to 2.3
