Huawei (yes, it's chinese) is a serious company, not one of those copy-everything-and-still-look-good crapy manufacturers... 'nuff said...
Do not buy any Chinese phone as long as the 2010 Nobel Peace Prize winner Liu Xiaobo is from from Chinese illegal prison!
Anonymous, 11 Dec 2010having huawei branded on my phone just looks bad, makes it sound cheap and chineseIf the phone has a name on it that makes it sound cheap and chinese, don't bother buying or commenting about it and go get your icraps....
GSM Arena write the best phone reviews on the Internet. Please review a Huawei or a ZTE model in the near future. I might be mistaken but I do not think GSM Arena has ever wrote a review for a phone from any of the aforementioned brands.
Anonymous, 11 Dec 2010having huawei branded on my phone just looks bad, makes it sound cheap and chineseI bought a Ideos, yes it was cheap, its the best phone I've had, volume clarity function, had a $700 Samsung before that, their customer service, indifference, made me promise NEVER to touch another of their phones again, The phone doesnt have Huawei written on it, it has Ideos with Google ( because its plain vanilla android )A phone for less than 1/3 the price of my previous phone thats 3 times as good, with the latest android OS, sounds like a good deal to me. My only problem is the size of the screen, I knew that when I bought it, which is why I would look at the X5 and X6. No more paying 1000 bucks for a phone thats full of crapware that the manufacturers cant be bothered updating the latest ver. of android on
Now all that remains to be seen is how quickly Huawei will provide android updates.
Looks like a Sony Ericsson x10 with gingerbread. Had a girlfriend like that once.
Here is some more pics and more info on this models from older news article : http://www.gsmarena.com/froyod...ews-2024.php

Really really nice design,if the company have good suport and updates the software they can grow fast as android raises them all now! good job!
nice clean design. too bad this is an old snapdragon processor and probably little to no support.
If this gets to Europe, good assistance etc...I'll try to get the big one!! For now I love the Desire HD with that 4.3" but this one is beautifull too!! Nice specs!
If these guys can provide better customer service and future updates then trust me i'll throw away my galaxy s and get this in a heart beat...
