Of course its just marketing strategy. Its called incremental innovation. They bring out the most basic form they can even though more often than not they can release a better product the first time around. But that means that they dont have something special to release next time right?

so.. when will this phone be launched..? i reckon other manufacturers would release newer models and make this rather "obsolete" by the time its released judging by SE previous releases

nice looking but why put the headphone input on the side, now all headphone cables get in the way of pockets, and the actual cable will weaken and eventually brake because of this. just like on the old walkman phones eg: w880.

You all know this will happen so why not tell sony ericsson now

yoo mr. google...!!!
slow down will ya...!?
give people a time to breathe...
remember your first goal with the OHA, when you announces android...
do you really expect people buy's phone several times a year?
is this all just marketing strategies?
now you've become more commercial oriented than microsoft, blackberry, or apple...

> In reply to Anonymous @ 2011-01-07 19:21 from mg9m - click to readnope it was the symbian foundation that messed up nokia
since they where taking their sweet @ss time with symbian's development

if you noticed after nokia reclaimed symbian how quick they have been with development
why do you think no one wanted to use symbian after the foundation got a hold of it.....

cause they took their damn time

and now since nokia fully ownes symbian
sony might considered symbianOS phones

the main downfall of nokia is that they have great ideas and then make the phones so slow! shame :(

Android will definitely release a laptop running android OS Soon. That means they can make what they want. But Symbian has not much development ,every time same things,so boring Symbian. If a person buy a phone running symbian ,he will definitely throw away the phone because of hanging and crashing every time.im a well experienced user.
