Hermes1, 08 Dec 2016What a ridiculous comment. You can send them to the store for new battery installation. Why wo... moreWhat a useless comment. I've already described why going to the service is not a solution.
monsterduc1000, 08 Dec 2016Umm... Do your research maybe? App drawer (settings>home screen>home & app drawer), ... moreI'm talking about what was the case when the phone was released. At that time, G5 had none of those features. LG added them back later because of the complaints of users.
Bootloop feature is LG greatest invention for you, so you can rest without smartphone addiction
Anonymous, 08 Dec 2016No in Middle East it rarely rains. In fact in most places of the world (where many people live... moreOk, granted it does not rain as much but they are still subject to water & phones are still at risk of liquid damage, you know, sinks, toilets water spillages, that kind of thing.
A sealed battery and glass construction would be the final nails in LG's coffin.
LG should be all about function over form, and position itself as a value flagship, in the position of Oneplus but with global distribution and better hardware choices (camera, sd card, removable battery).
Not sure why they are choosing to self-destruct, first with the absurd modular G5 with compromised fit and finish and weak battery, and now these rumours if true.
Hermes1, 09 Dec 2016I use portable wifi. Save battery better and equally fast.Well, not everyone wants to spend an extra $$ for another device nor they want to carry one.
Besides, some carriers in Europe and Asia gives better value at a lower cost for a bundled data plan w/ voice and sms
I do agree with you and I also own one. But not everyone does that so, in average, people will want more battery power just to be able to connect to the internet via 3G.
LOL, seriously? So they decided to ditch the removable battery and advartise the 3.5mm as the key "feature"? Just like they did with the removable battery.
Well thanks, but no thanks. 3.5mm jack is a must for me, yes. But the removable battery is a must too (Especially if it's not just non-removable, but combined with the most ridiculous material possible - glass), unless the phone costs no more than $300. But even all of this doesn't automatically make a phone worth buying. LG never learns, just like all the other insane manufacturers. HTC, even Samsung (They paid a huge price for using a non-removable battery and now, instead of making a decent phone, they are also preparing to ditch the 3.5mm jack).
Pure insanity AND mockery with customers.
That's why i'll keep buying cheap phones (And only the ones having 2 sim slots with dedicated sd slot...hybrid slot - another insanity and mockery).
Lg playing copycat.
If they will increase the battery size to extend the time between charges I didn't believe it will make a difference.

Have you tried 3G?
Smartphones are useless without connecting to the internet and average use means being connected to 3G ALL THE TIME.
None of the current flagships can last for more than 10 hours when connected to 3G ALL THE TIME.

Its such a waste to buy extra things i dont need. Btw, how the hell you guys finished up the entire battery from 100% to 0% in less than a day. A smartphone battery should last an entire day at least with average use unless you people are constantly looking at and using your phone all day long and even secretly using it during working hour. Mine phone last an entire day from morning to night with very average usage.
Indon't bother about the weight. G6 must have above 4500 mAh battery capacity on a 5 7 inch super AMOLED display with 1440p resolution.
I currently have the G5 and love their current removable battery design. We use our phones for more than we realize sometimes, and the ability to always have a full charge has saved me on more than one account.
AnonD-18423, 08 Dec 2016I hate to agree with you, but sadly that is the world we live in.Dude, your so right.Samsung take every company idea and increase on it but right now BecAuse of ThAt step up making THEM number 1 right now in the world.
Why dont they use the material from the Xiaomi mi mix.Scratches at a lvl 8 and 9 which is extremely AWESOME AND please LG my build flawz, use the best and no software issue.Advertise that PHONE so it will be well known
Please keep the removable battery, SD card, and headphone jack. They are indispensable to me.
FGS, LG G6 should use SD835 chip with all the goodies of V20, but ditch the 2nd screen, smaller main screen (5-5.2), and make better screen to body ratio at least at level of G2 or G3.
it would be sold like hot cake
Many thought that removable battery is all about the old fashion battery swapping advantage. To me, it's not about that. Most importantly smartphones with removable battery is about customization freedom and to prolong the life-span of a smartphone.
Hermes1, 08 Dec 2016You must be a geek desperate for battery life all the time. Just face it! Unremovable battery ... moreMy laptop has a removable battery. 6 months old, i7, 16gb, etc. I've even tried buying a extended battery for it.
There's plenty enough people wanting a removable battery for devices that manufacturers will keep making them
