Can I say "Over my dead body"? The whole idea of getting rid of mini jack is a "conspiracy theory ploy" to make more money selling worse hardware and creating even bigger price range. Everyone will be paying for not only better headphones but with better or worse sound cards, some stereo, some other will be surround and so on... and we will end with 1000$+ for some upBEATS surrPLUS MegaBass craptastis ultra sound nothing.
Nope. Stickin' with Harman/Kardon and JBL :D
All phones OEM's sound based products are subpar, but Apple especially should know that you cant ask nearly 200€ for a product, when you can get something much better from Sennheiser, Shure, Sony Audio division, etc. This applies to Samsung, LG, HTC and others, which while they do have some partners to work with like Harman Kardon, Bang & Olufsen, theyr just not on the same level as true audiophile manufacturers. So no, and yeah, i am against the inclusion of earphones that are on the range of 5-10€, pre-included. LG and HTC have included 150€ earphones in the past, which is pretty nice, but you could get better somewhere else, if they forced you to pay for those in a way.
Apple airpods sucks tough, MKBHD says they sound the same as the ones included in the damn retail box of an Iphone... (Mega facepalm).
Mine (wired) did cost about 12€ hi performance Koss product. That product looks nothing like something for audiophiles. It's just for Apple show. More useful are Sony products or LG's way using jack with 4dac.
AnonD-510098, 18 Dec 2016Nope.
Wireless = Lower Quality
Wireless = Battery Drain on Phone
Wireless = Easier to Los... moreFirst of all if these were a companion to a MacBook or iPad the answer would still no.
The airpod are more suitable for that, I see some news interviews on Skype and wired earphones just look out of place
I saw the iPhone7 presentation and the introduction of the airpod static , the wearer was motionless, like a mannequin.
After you saw some Gym work, iPhone 7 (not airpod)
Then the big finish and the airpod was included as an accessory so on a table with all the accessories
Apple could not have been clearer, there was never an occasion with a person using an airpod and doing anything above playing chess,
Now I have a Nokia BH-110 which come with clip that goes over the ear
I saw that Tim Cook also stated in interview that it was the weight of the wires that pulled in ear earphones out... well
Between now and then I doubt that there will be any adverts with airpods plus movement.
Apple are slick marketing experts, so it would have reached everyone who saw it being used during a work out which was a few weeks before Tim Cook "defence"
People will buy the airpods some on the assumption of activity, those who do will experience disappointment.
Airpods imo office only no ifs no butts
Nope ive got samsung gear iconx about 2 months ago so id rather have something original thanks....
Not going to ditch my wired Beyerdynamics anytime soon.
If there's still no news on the jaybirds x3 availability in europe by next month yeah, I'm sick and tired of waiting.
Nope. I love my Jabra Elite.
I like them but they are too expensive for me. Does anybody have experience with Jabra Halo Free?
how about no
AnonD-510098, 18 Dec 2016Nope. Wireless = Lower Quality Wireless = Battery Drain on Phone Wireless = Easier to Los... moreikr! too many disadvantage
74% of voters against Apple cr.p. Nice!
No, getting jaybird X3's...
are you getting the new Apple AirPods?
the answer is: NO.
Was expecting for a "NO FREAKING WAY" option. lol seriously people are willing to spend cash for this junk?
Well, i watched/read a few reviews and it seems fine to me.
It seems like it works with Android quiet well although only one gesture is supported...double tap to pause/play.
I'll get one in probably a year. Until then, i'll be on the lookout for competitors and see what they come up with. Hopefully the others can have a similar design (earphones itself, not the antenna bit) and can price it correctly. (£50-120 seems fine to me)..
For those who don't get why i'd make such purchase:
The normal wired headphones from Apple work just fine for me, and i actually like the sound they make. Design wise, i find it the best one that doesn't fall off my ear every time when i'm on the go. The rubber ones that go into your ear is just uncomfortable.
Gear Icon X isn't bad, but Sammy asks way too much for it and it also doesn't last long.
No they suck and I'm iPhone user
