The main reason people buy LG is because of the removable battery, if they get rid of it. They will lose a hell of a lot of sales
The G5 looks kickass at the back. My S7 looks boring but it's amazing to hold.

Even though G6 is good, lots of people would still buy s8 or Ip8. That is power of the brand.
Will it loop?

The only really solid smartphone they have ever made was the G2. Every other flagship that came after it was either compromised in battery life or had serious software issues like bootloops.
If g6 will be like g5, it will lose again to Sammy. People don't want gimmicks to be like other brands. Not even a replaceable battery, was enough for g5 to compete with s7.
They would hit the black with high end pen device also. Didn't they want to take on samsung?
Anonymous, 26 Dec 2016I've owned a G4 and a G5, no problems all. so far

waterproofing + removable battery?
removable battery + wireless charging?
glass design + removable battery?
How do these 3 types even come close together? 2017 smartphones gonna be boring... All flagsips will have that fragile all glass design...

Phones with great specs (user removable battery over all) but low quality electronics and assembly. I own a G4, still no bootloop but camera keeps crashing here and there, even after hard reset. No reliability at all

G5, 2 things it needed and I would have bought it.
Amoled and reliability. I would actually buy it now since it's the only phone with removable battery + IR blaster and sd card. However, I just don't trust LG phones.
The G5 has reports of it bootlooping, same as G4. really sad. LG isn't serious about fixing this. Apparently it's been going on since G3!
V20 is getting the issue as well. lol..
Dual SIM + Separate SD Card Slot, 3.5mm jack, Glass & Metal Body with removable battery, that's all I'm looking for in LG G6. No matter how much you argue, removable batteries are the best thing.
Yay, but no more removable Battery, I'm hoping we can keep that in the vSeries. I'm ok with LG having a glass/metal enclosed option an a traditional removable option, but if they go with ALL enclosed glass/metal phones, I'll be switching Brands again :/
This caveman likes his removable battery
Loved my G3! But how can I trust LG, knowing my G3 died after only 1,5 years because of hardware issues and reading about too many bootloop issues with the G4 and V10? Sorry, I'll pass!
Same fantastic tack sharp wide angle second camera as the G5 I hope.
