Anonymous, 25 Dec 2016Seems that no one make money with Android except Samsung Lol.Hey don't forget google
Back pre 2.3.6 gingerbread i believe that cyanogen was needed but now not so much.
Mohamad Haris, 24 Dec 2016Poor cyanogenmod. It started as a community project, and later driven by money and lastly cons... moreIt's the other way around actually they were moving from maintaining the business and being too ambitious and made bad business decision
Hahaha, I still remember how the CEO was proud and arrogant in handling the Oneplus, Micromax and Cyanogen fiasco, completely disregard agreement and partnership. Swallow your ego and bitter pill now!
Emerax, 24 Dec 2016Cyanogenmad will still be workingNope. Read https://www.xda-developers.com/the-death-of-cyangenmod-and-whats-in-store-for-the-future/
Anonymous, 24 Dec 2016Cyanogen* not cyanogenmodYou mean Cyanogenmod*
Lol.. they had this coming.. I hugely appreciate CyanogenMod.. but Cyanogen, when u try to bury the source of Android, where do u think u will end up? Exactly here.. I hope the devs stay alive and develop for the passion of Dev alone..
Nokia joined with Microsoft to beat the market of Android..
Cyanogen joined with Microsoft to kill Android...
Nadella, what's next??
What should this tell ya?! Believe in Science!! 1+ -1 = 0.. jk lol
This is really sad to know. It's time to sell my s7 edge because i was waiting for cyanogenmod but i guess there will not be aosp rom for it
Cyanogen, the thing users who used it proud of finally dies. Im glad. I really hate those people showing of their cyanogenmod as if it is the best thing ever on a smartphone.
I loved the CyanogenMod OS but hated the convoluted root/install/upgrade headache. Then push comes to shove; if you cant offer OTA-upgrades, you only gonna attract die-hard fans. And in the long run, that simply isnt good enough.
