I have to say quick charge is a great tech, it helped me greatly especially in these last trips I had. Apple fanboys can't understand what they are missing.
Nobody cares about quick charge stuff. We want bigger battery capacity!!!
funny how charging speed is related to cpu power these days.. unless its a thermal battery
Five Star, 29 Dec 2016Kirin made the best android chip of 2016. End of. Dont reply to me :P nope , Kirin is low end crap .
Anonymous, 29 Dec 2016you're wrong. Mate 9 even with super charger, does 0-55% in 30mins. oneplus 3 does 0-65% in 30... moreErr no. Youre wrong.
OP3 has smaller capacity battery. (3000mah)
Huawei Mate 9 has a bigger battery. (4,000mah)
Its not just about the percentage.
Shadow Snypa786, 29 Dec 2016Then buy a phone with Kirin 960 because its faster in real life usage, obviously according to ... morenot realy the mate 9 was beatean by the honor 8 whit the kirin 950 and by the oneplus3t whit the snapdragon 821
Dakommonklod, 29 Dec 2016Bring on the OnePlus 3UIf that happened, I think they should name it OP3FU (in honor of all their OP3 costumers) -- and have another price-hike while they are at it...
Anonymous, 29 Dec 2016Apple still doesnt have fast charging thoughHuh! I thought Apple always setting the path for others to copy. If not then soon Apple will follow all the Chinese lol
Five Star, 29 Dec 2016Kirin 960 will be faster in real life usage. Then buy a phone with Kirin 960 because its faster in real life usage, obviously according to you Snapdragon and Exynos will not be, or you can wait for you 970.
Stop commenting and trolling on Exynos, Samsung, Snapdragon threads and stay on the Kirin 960 etc ones.
Five Star, 29 Dec 2016Because the Mate 9 is the fastest charging phone in the world. Even faster than OnePlusyou're wrong. Mate 9 even with super charger, does 0-55% in 30mins. oneplus 3 does 0-65% in 30mins. Currently Oneplus 3 is the fastest around, but qualcomm quickcharge 4.0 could definitely change that.
Anonymous, 29 Dec 2016SD810/808 was ruined due to 20nm being crappy.810 was not that bad just horrible heat issues that lead to throttling. Some manufacturers tamed it well. The MS version tested and it did do throttling but a lot less than other implementations. The biggest issue was the battery consumption. While you can dissipate heat, that heat was still generated from excessive use of energy.
Anonymous, 29 Dec 2016Why do they go with octa core again, it's so useless. Their last try ended up as a disaster ru... moreIt's clear for Apple as their iOS is not utilized the same way as Android is, read on how Android (and Linux kernel underneath) implements multitasking compared to iOS. With multiwindow becomes basic feature, the requirement for multicore chipsets becomes compulsory. Also, you cannot make cores as big as Apple one for generic chipsets that contain a lot of components, not enough space available. If you think you're really better than Qualcomm engineers, propose your design to them. Customers don't get fooled at all, if they're willing to understand that number of cores is not everything in modern chipset design.
