Some guys compare this lauch with nokias open studio, come on guys, is only the launch of EDGE version of w850, low end phone k320 with bluetooth, bluetooth watch and HW folding phone. What is your problem with these SE phones??? nothing new, no more!
SE only reinforces low-end offer because their position in this market segment is weak. For example, k320 will compete with 3220, this uglyyyyy nokia phone has not bluetooth or IR, in this case k320 beat 3220, it will be one of the best cheap phones. How to compare this k320 with n95???... only you nokia boyz.

Some people complaining about the SE decision of take brands from sony, what s the matter with this??

walkman: great sound quality, top class head phones, very good player, and walkman line are the best music-phones actually. If SE take brands from sony is for make the difference in the market. SE obtain this difference, for this walkman phones are a success in the market. ¿¿am i wrong??

The same with cyber-shot, great image quality, xenon flash and a proper camera UI. make a difference between all phone makers. And the final user obtain the thing that he wish.

All of you nokia boys dont take in account the decision in nokia line to put carl zeiss lenses in some phones, is only a market move to take more foolish people. In camera phones the lenses dont make a difference, more impact in the final result has the sensor quality and algorithm picture processing.

Is amusing read some post where people praise carl zeiss lenses in N90 and N73... hahaha, only foolish!
SE without trademark lenses do a better job, its easy!

Actually that is what really SE is avoiding - internal competition. Unlike nokia

Sony Ericson would never beat Nokia. I wonder if SE will make a 5-MP cybershot phone bcoz they need to consider the market for their real cybershot camera line-up as well. They wouldn't want to have competition among both of their products. Nokia is best anyway.

Handwriting recognition function plus Flintstone's UI plus folded phone equals to stupid sony errisson phone. After stupid walkman and cybershot phones, perhaps they'll launch handycam, trinitron,or bravia phones. Why do you have to cling on 'big' names, SE? Why, in the name of Cell-God? Sure they're your own products, Sony. But it's just too pathetic, esp. since you'll never catch up Nokia. Ever.

indeed, dissappointing. Obviously these are phones SE was planning on announcing in the future, but decided to do it now to steal some attention. These were not intended to be N95-competitors by any means. That will come later.

Nokia fan boys, try to be subjective and not opinionated. "SE has yet to beat nokia"? Correct me if I'm wrong, but the general consensus everywhere was that K800 beat N93 (rivals of the time) in every aspect except for video, and W800/K750 beat N90 overall. Don't post on a SE newsletter just to bash SE and praise Nokia, it makes everyone involved look stupid.

If you would try to compare the new handsets by SE they wouldn't kill each other, whereas with Nokia most esp. N95, it would really kill the other nokia models currently on the market like N93.

Most ppl who are interested in buying N93 will now focus on N95, unlike SE handsets which do no conflict each other...

SE has better marketing compared to Nokia.

The W830 is nothing interesting, just a whole cheaper copy of w850. The camera is cheap without autofocus and the design is dull.
Also W958c and Z550a are totally the same with the previous versions

Just the K320 and Z558 are new but frankly K320 is a crap, get bored with the same functions and design that SE offers to most of their phones.

SE is now running out of idie of new design. All of them are the same from K310, K320, K510 to K600, K608, and K750,w800,w810,K700... and also the function and UI are very similar. Maybe just a little bit different in camera and music capability

To the Z558, what's the point of touchscreen in a non-smartphone ???
Just for inputing number and sms ?
What a lame, we know how easier it is with the keypart and it's not a new idea. Samsung and Moto have applied it for long time.

Just the Watch is cool but I don't think that it will become popular. Do u want a watch looks exactly the same with the watch of other people ?

What's the point of K320??? Was there really that much space between K310 and K510 to squeeze the phone in there?

SE better commes up with something big soon.

but after n95 every phone will look lame, really especially if you can afford it. nothing will change your mind of buying the n95.

what's up with yuo pro-nokia supporters, i9've owned many nokias, fair enough they are fine communication devices but so are SE. In some way SE are better than Nokia, thier designs are better for a start and the finishing touch of Sony Ericsson are of far higher quality than the recent wave of Nokia phones bar the 8800 and N93.
Plus how can you say this has been done before with SE when Sooo many of Nokia's recent phones are remakes or recycled versions of thier predecessors, the N-Series music range for example. Give us a break.

i appreciate se's move. it simply means, they are not naive to what is happening ryt now. se isnt that as big as nokia as a company. it cant just simply manufacture new platforms like nokia in a very short span of time. but m crossing my fingers as i know, something big will come out very soon.
