I WANTED to buy a samsung with such a screen but why samsung doesnt use better materials and inspired designs?I held a galaxy s and it was like a plastik copy of iphone and now i own an iphone for that reason.I am not an apple fan but my next phone will be a prototype and not be a copy of my previous.

This phone is not for me. Small screen, just like the lousy IPONES, very is expensive only have "some" capabilities of other cheap smartphones. I have GALAXY TAB, I am waiting to buy DELL STREAK, ACER 4.8" Android Phone and of course the LEGENDARY MOTOROLA ATRIX OR atrix 4g.

> In reply to [deleted post]I work in a phone shop, so I've used pretty much every phone out there. Samsung blatantly copies apple. Their notes, mail, calendar and contact apps in the galaxy tab are almost identical to the iPad. They even copied the charger and connector. And with the Galaxy S, curved back with no flash, even the name. If the iPhone 3G S was to be called the "iPhone 3G XT", samsung would gave called it "Galaxy XT"

Few logos and color scheme of computers and software systems are alike in almost each company. That never means copy. if every soda bottles look same, u wont say its copy, if my shirt and my friend's shirt are of same color, then u can't say copy. just chill and enjoy, whatever u get. thanks. and its my opinion, and still u can stick to yours too.

hey samsung, heads up... just because your the number 1 mobile phone manufacturer does not mean you can try rip off other phone companies to tryyyyyyy enjoy the same kind of success that they are.... doesnt work that way... and only leaves u looking stupid
i guess this phone and a few of samsungs latest releases really just pay a massive homage to the iphone and how well its doing on the market

That's the reason I hate samsung as usual zero creativity and 100% copy/paste.

If samsung was studying in university it would be the first one to be kicked out! Well people who study in universities knows what happens when you just plagiarize!

The link below shows how the App Drawer on a Galaxy S with Touch Wiz looks like. Note the iPhone-like boxes that were added behind the icons.

I guess that this a strategy from Samsung to make the iPhone design look old and boring.
