I'm htc fan but i will never trust again HTC, as htc promised 15 days update for One A9 and now even sony, samsung and asus released nougat but htc not released after 4 months! Is it easy to promise and then broke it for HTC?!
Nigel is the worst public speaker ever. He seemed super unprepared and all of the speakers seemed fake.
XoX, 11 Jan 2017nobody cares men...HTC is dead, and tomorrow is their last breathe.LOL, mate, if I had a penny for every time I read that HTC is dead over the last 5 years, I'd be a millionaire.
From the presentation:
- What do you like about our phones?
- Metal unibody and boomsound.
- Ok we will remove that. What else?
- Well, it's unique...
- No, problem, we will remove that as well and make it look like every other phone out there...
Its copy from Lg the 2nd display, and look copy from Samsung, and cheap quality sales the product high price. nothing new its like a old mobile no use
How is it possible in 2017 a presentation so big and Live on the internet to have this poor sound ...i don`t understand a thing ...Come on HTC how can you launch a very impressive product and no one understand it, because we can`t hear what you are saying!!!...(Maybe it is because the lack of the 3,5 mm Jack :))... )
Oh my, looks exactly like the galaxy phones, home button, camera and even the flash/sensors placement, glass sandwich.
Htc has lost it, its nothing but a galaxy copy.
Anonymous, 11 Jan 2017It is taking many stellar features of other phones (ticker screen, great camera, high end SoC,... moreI always assumed, possibly incorrectly it was to either make the phone smaller and\or water resistant? One thing I would love to see, but very much doubt I will, is water resistance.
JackJones999, 11 Jan 2017On paper based on what I've seen so far the Ultra should be one of the best phones of 2017 but... moreIt is taking many stellar features of other phones (ticker screen, great camera, high end SoC, etc.)...but had to follow the stupid and remove the 3.5mm jack...and replace it with...nothing...
I would be fine with this stupid trend, if the companies actually had something replacing it...where you could use your high end headphones...maybe a more secure slimjack that takes up less space, yet provides all the benefits of the 3.5mm...yes an adapter would be required, however you don't take up your charging port...and over time it is something high end headphones would adapt to if it became a standard.
Hopefully alpine will have a biger battery than egat has veen leaked
On paper based on what I've seen so far the Ultra should be one of the best phones of 2017 but somehow I just know HTC will screw it up.
thanks for informing us GA, but I think reading an old phone book would far more interesting than watching HTC U event ....
