Anonymous, 16 Jan 2017It's the same with iPhone.... So you think iPhone is the "Chinese Phone"?Eeehhh
HMD is 100% Finnish. This is NOT a Chinese company, it is ex-NOKIA people. Therefore this stays true to the real Nokia we knew
AnonD-510098, 15 Jan 2017They are ex nokia employees and are finnish, not chinese. It's the same with iPhone....
So you think iPhone is the "Chinese Phone"?
The main priority that I give in a phone is the CAMERA! No Android has satisfied me in camera clarity. After disposing many Android phones, I've settled using my NOKIA 808 Pure view along with Samsung Galaxy S5! If Nokia comes up with at least 20Mp or above Megapixel, I'll be the first person to order it in India!! !! !

"time to step off the hype train" = YEP. Congratulations on building another bland android. It was just what the world needed... I can think of at least 5 brands with superior specs and build quality for the same price range.

Nokia was never dead since it's burst. They are older then 100 years. So, yeah, they changed a lot during this time. From tires to tv's. They always invented themselves. Apparently people like you cannot comprehend the basics of life. Nokia is not dead. They are alive and well. They are actually scoring great income since they sold the factories and are preparing the world for the 5G network. So, please people stop with this nonsense. Nokia dead. If you have nothing intelligent to say. Then, shut up cause as far as i can see, Nokia is preparing to return. If they go up and up. They will be soon building their own factories again. Nothing new, nothing old...
For me 6 months after came out on the market. Wait for the feedback of buyers how worthy this new nokia. I dont want to sacrifice my money for to test how reliable it is.
yes i will. i will be more happy if i will get nokia 8 soon
Trckster, 15 Jan 2017as long as i get to play SNAKE :P Yeah. I think it'd be awesome if it came preinstalled on their phones. :]

Even though I think the true Nokia brand is dead and this is just a Chinese mobile running a premium name....I still will be trying these things out if they hit globally. That said the battery life will probably be poor. Nothing wrong with Chinese phones as I am currently using Xiaomi redmi note 3 And Xiaomi mi Max. Both phones have superb battery endurance. I have nothing against Chinese phones but the real Nokia is gone. Times change

Even if Nokia 8 rumoured specs are true, most important for me is camera and battery life. And I don't have any high hopes for the Nokia 8 camera because it will be like any other camera for example Xiaomi. (which is only let down of xiaomi but only when MI5 is compared to S7 or HTC 10, when compared to similarly priced phones it's only second to OP3) but Nokia will at least have prices like LG.
Other important factor is battery and I don't think Nokia can fit a bigger battery than OnePlus or Xiaomi with their excellent battery techs (look at 3T and redmi 3s). One plus is among the best when it comes to taking important decisions about specs and design (ex 1080p resolution for OP3) so It is almost certain they will bring a superb low light camera for OP4 (OP3 have one of the best 16MP camera) and may even jump on dual camera bandwagon (or may save it for 4T?) So until Nokia brings SD835 Lumia 1020 with latest tech and obviously Android, most probably OP4 or Mi6.
For the sake of snapdragon430, it's 2017, come on Nokia......!!

Windows 8 is fine, Windows 10 is not fit to be called gamma tested
The 950 is exceptional its problem is it is running an unstable OS called W10
Nokia would not have released a phone with a built-in battery
Nokia avoided Android due to the lack of security (malware)
Give me an 'edge' and removable battery and I'm there
My guess is ALL Nokia will have fixed in battery

Although Nokia has a lot to catch up on and learn. I can't get off the hype train either. Sooner than later they will get things down right. They are not amateurs but this is new territory for them since they have been out for quite awhile. Looking forward for a sick mid range phone that doesn't kill the wallet and keeps up with other top mid rangers. Compact is preferred for me though.
Adult slippers size screen with SD 430 processor. Nokia gotta be kidding us. Since, Nokia has ruled in the market for years, therefore expectations are high on customers end.
