I am willing to buy I-9003 as offcourse it is below 20k and that is the sole reason of choosing it in comparison with I-9000.But in a strong doubt about its performance in contrast with I-9000.Please suggest the better option out of the two...

Mind you, the I9003 Galaxy SL is not the Galaxy S successor - that one should be announced on the 13th February. I CANNOT WAIT!

anything more than rs 20k it is very costly, outdated software, outdated processor, outdated camera!

"...the CPU, which is a 1GHz TI OMAP 3630 instead of a Hummingbird CPU".
I9000 - Hummingbird = ARM Cortex-A8 + PowerVR SGX 540
I9003 - TI OMAP 3630 = ARM Cortex-A8 + PowerVR SGX 530
So this is no successor at all but a step down in (at least gaming) performance.

> In reply to DJScope @ 2011-02-03 06:01 from syb@ - click to readThat's not true at all. Super Amoled is much more energy efficient than any LCD. Sure it would consume a bit more power while displaying a very bright, white image but in most real life situations it uses much less energy.
Also as a display technology it's superior to LCD in almost every major aspect.
About the i9003 I think that it's a very not nice aspect - cutting the superior GPU and S-Amoled panel makes it mediocre. If the price is right (lower-mid end) it would be good but I doubt that.
