i am nokia fan but i love sony-ericsson. they are full of taste. xperia arc and this model are the most beatiful androids. if n8 wasn't with a 12mp camera and lovely symbian 3 , i was to change direction to sony-eriscsson

"the aging Symbian OS is giving way to a shiny new Android 2.3 Gingerbread "

Does anyone else think that Symbian 3 or 4 will struggle to actually dislodge Android and WM 7? Letting Symbian stagnate for so long was a bad move.

And what's with SE and lack of Xenon?

> In reply to TOM KLIA @ 2011-02-03 17:14 from PS6k - click to readyou are saying "now is 2011 and more and more news we heard everyday about dual core with loads more RAM for high end smartphone".
personally i find that more things put on paper doesnt always mean useful things. for instance, the ram: what is the use of too much ram if you dont use it. to use that much you need to multitask with a lot of apps buton the daily basis you may me using only 2 say 3 apps simultaneously.
now for the dual core thing with special reference to the optimus 2x: it has a dual core just to make it beautiful on paper by becoming the first dual core smartphone but android currently doesnt support mutithreading so can only use 1 core at a time. plus there is no word whether 3.0 will be adapted to mobile phones.
also how faster/better can it become compared to the other phones?? the phones with single core can do things really quick.is that boost in performance worth it for the TROLLS on the comment page to call 1 ghz processors to be old stuff?? but i do admit that to record full hd, a mobile do need some extra boost for the processor

Its not uncommon for big firms to 'leak' info about new phones, so saying that security is lax at these firms is nonsense as they do it deliberately

Hey Gsmarena team...
This is exactly the same prototype unit which was reviewed by Mobile-Review.
So, this is not exactly leaking again & again but the same unit being reviewed by diff. sites.

I just hope sony ericsson will not delay any of this model because now is 2011 and more and more news we heard everyday about dual core with loads more RAM for high end smartphone. And the design like that, only God knows how much and how easy it can get scratches..
