Anonymous, 22 Jan 2017You can get the ZUK Z2 sd820 with less Yeah that too, but it depends on how they market the Nokia
Mindmyenglish, 22 Jan 2017Or snapdragon 625. Yeah, but Helio X20 is more powerful. 625 has better battery but weaker performnace compared to the X20
I like Nokia, most of do except the Elop fiasco cost them dearly and changed the course of history..if only they had gone with Android instead of Windows. Now that Nokia seem to rise from the ashed of old Nokia...i hope they don't hold back on specs, even with mid-ranger devices. Therefore if they want the Nokia 6 which i think is a good midrange phone to go GLOBAL, they should upgrade the chipset to Qualcomm 65X and probably the battery.
But the rumored bigger Nokia 8 with 5.7" QHD screen, Qualcomm 835 chipset, 6GB RAM with 64/128GB storage plus SD card, looks like an amazing camera will be perfectly suited for global distribution. As always i hope they put a huge 4000+mAh battery in it. Let's hope OEMs always keep in mind that a super specced highend flagship phone is useless dead in ur pocket because of meager sized battery. So Nokia go BIG on battery.
It is a midrange phone, I repeat a midrange phone. Stop complaining about chipsets. As much as I love Android it has made people obsessed with numbers.
the Nokia6 will find plenty buyers, at least similar to the success of Huawei. Huawei rarely delivered powerful SoC and specs but people kept buying them due to the good exteriors.
My current phone already uses 430. Nokia 6 would just be a side grade for me.
Firstly, slapped the people who says snapy 430 is outdated this is the processor design for heavy duty as well as good bettery efficiency this the reason for adept this processor and i used this on redmi 3s and it works very well in every high end game and this phone is the largest selling phone.
Just miss the old Nokia innovation and creativity, current crops of smartphone lack what was Nokia once do in the past.Design might bulky or heavy but its fun, slide or clam shell to twisting design.Nokia Pureview and Carl-Zeiss lens are still their trademark in smartphone field,Nokia 6 was only a mid-range device but I just hope Nokia/HMD got some trick up on it's sleeve to surprise all of the old Nokia phone user.(41MP Carl-Zeiss lens and Pureview tech with Xenon Flash comeback again?)
Those fan who vote will buy it are not buying it . Making the company wrongly estimate the demand will destroy Nokia once forever .
It's just a mid-range device people! Don't expect the best android experience out there just because it says Nokia on it.
I'm interested only in high-end phones, so this one is out of the question for me. I don't care what cameras it has if it doesn't have the latest chipset from SnapDragon only.
It looks like a cheap Lumia, it is produced in China, it has a very cheap and outdated CPU, which is slower and it's old architecture will consume more battery for less actions, it doesn't have any advanced camera features like OIS, or a big lens that can take good photos at night. So this phone classified by its chip, should be classed as entry level, except it has stellar RAM and internal storage, so it should be compared with misclassified Chinese phones. The big question is, how much would it cost in the West?
Nokia will only do better from here, the other models will have better specs, so no need to get worried for nothing, let's just wait and see their specs and prices and then will we see their chances. Thumbs up for the internal storage, thumbs down for the huge bezels, but I guess it's OK, as in China they don't mind big bezels, as long as the phones are affordable, but in the West, esp in 2017, when everyone will enter the bezel war, coming with 70% screen to body bezel means you are out of competition...
sainisethji, 22 Jan 2017I want nokia to customise android according to old gold nokia days. No point in buying same in... moreExactly my point. What I'm looking for is also a break from the routine. Nokia did wonders with designs and contents. Looking forward to see more. I'm done with android, specially the interface.
Five Star, 22 Jan 2017When you can get Helio X20 for £140 (Redmi Note 4).... its overpriced. You can get the ZUK Z2 sd820 with less
Five Star, 22 Jan 2017When you can get Helio X20 for £140 (Redmi Note 4).... its overpriced. Or snapdragon 625.
I want nokia to customise android according to old gold nokia days. No point in buying same internals, just the brand will be different .
please stop making stupidly overpriced products sells, make the companies create better products, don't go into hype mode for anything, think first please.
