looks good idea instead of carry another battery to charge it on the trip.
my lg g4 died should i get v20 or g6? or get diff brand?
Mokhabadi, 22 Jan 2017i prefer the Rubber Bands™ modules! i can use Rubber Bands™ with a 10000mah xiaomi power ban... moreI guess not a lot of people will get The Rubber Band(TM) open source SDK but we also know that this is the future but now we are in the present and the adoption for the Card phone is still low (although increasing)
I continually hear people comment on it being oversized & swapping the OEM batteries would be simpler for form factor. Which is indeed true. But I look at this product as a continuous (keyword) stamina alternative. On a long road trip, using navigation, browsing the web, without interruption. Or an elongated plane flight with heavy media consumption. Recording a non stop video with no cuts. There are literally tons of 'unusual' uses for this product depending upon the users need. People are thinking about conventionality, when this is a product targeted at unconventional uses & circumstances. Those looking to take their smartphones continuous non stop endurance to a whole new level for whatever reason. I understand opinions, but think outside the box before condemning something you yourself find little use for.
Anonymous, 22 Jan 2017Using extended battery is better than spare battery. And you save yourself having to carry aro... moreActually having two spares is better. One charges, one is used and one is carried. Batteries are extra small so it's hardly a problem (they fit everywhere), it's not as if you have to carry a whole mobile charger (like many people do).
That way you keep your phone slim.
Doubles it's capacity
Never have to charge again (you always have one at home charging)
If one of your batteries start dying you replace it, but even that is deferred as you use 3 batteries in place of one so your batteries' life goes thrice more.
With hefty batteries like zerolemon's:
The phone gets too large to be usable
It takes a million years to charge (compare it to the zero charge time of having one charging in home)
It saves you swapping. But swapping is one minute max, everything else you lose is far worse.
It doesn't save you carrying extra, as suddenly your phone is a brick, far bigger than original battery + spare
Capacity does not increase linearly. Despite getting a much bigger battery, you don't get much bigger capacity in actual use.
In short: 3 OEM batteries will always beat one extra hefty one.
I'm so glad I don't have to bother with extended batteries anymore. I used to have a note 4 with the zerolemon, and hated the bulk of the thing, just to get an extra day out of it! I'm loving my upgrade to a z play, I get insane screen on time with it, and never have to worry about charging it. It's rare to go below 40% for a days use. OEMs need to start offering better batteries for their flagships, what they offer now just sucks.
i prefer the Rubber Bands™ modules! i can use Rubber Bands™ with a 10000mah xiaomi power bank. it is slimmer and more beautiful and easier and cheaper.
Nothing fancy about it, it seems like a huge powerbank attached to the phone. It would be news if it was more usable size.

Anonymous, 21 Jan 2017This is st*pid. Why would i want to snap a mammoth like battery cover??? The one of the reason... moreI swapped batteries for 3 years before using the Zerolemon. I don't have to waste time switching batteries anymore. All I have to do is plug my phone before bed time.
I'm not complaining about the thickness or weight, however I'm after the continuous power.

1) I used their 10,000 battery for Galaxy Note 4.
It doubles the... moreA scam? I've been using Zerolemon 10,000mAh for my Note 3 for a year now. I'm getting triple power capacity. It's proportioned my using 3 original batteries. I used to spend two batteries worth for the day, but with Zerolemon, I have 30 to 40% left, despite the heavy use.
It can give me 27 hours, with 10 hours of SOT WITH MY PERSONAL USAGE. That's with about 3 GB with of LTE data.
That's my first 25 charging cycle data. Too bad the Note 3 only has the Snapdragon 800 processor. The Note 4's SD 805 processor is much more efficient, and lasts longer.
Very practical, but could only cater to an ever shrinking market of devices with removable batteries sadly.

nutjob2, 21 Jan 2017What a stupid idea. It's got a replaceable battery, what's the point? The best point of replaceable battery is that you can replace it to a bigger, higher capacity one.
Umesh k, 21 Jan 2017I doubt 10000mah will last 5 days... if 3200mah lasts for one dayZero Lemon is a zero scam!
1) I used their 10,000 battery for Galaxy Note 4.
It doubles the battery life but not tripples as it should do. They produce tricell batteries and Samsung Phones (and it looks like LG phones as well ) are not meant to recognize tricell.
2) even if it would give you 10,000 mah of power, it wouldn't be enough for 5 days . Unless you very little texting and only one hour of a Web browsing a day.
Every phone with 5.7 display and 3,200 mAh battery , gives only 150-175 minutes of continuous Web browsing (means constantly clicking new page ) Moreover, texting drains battery like crazy as well.
It is not a battery case. It's called extended battery.
Extended battery means it replaces the phone's own stock battery to a bigger, higher capacity one.
Battery case means it is just a case that has it's own battery, connects to the phone through the USB connector and it charges the phone's own battery.

Do you also laugh at people who use usb otg on an external drive even if their phone supports microsd?
