I hope they bring back dual front facing stereo speakers, for the Pixel 2. And change the name back to Nexus, because Pixel still sounds as dumb as it did the day it was announced.
The OnePlus 3 and 3T, that others mention, is a nice phone. Much better than the original OnePlus phones. I'm tempted by it. But at the end of the day it does not support T-Mobile's wifi calling and has had spotty (unofficial) support of VoLTE. OnePlus has also been spotty with it's software and security updates.
Those things are deal breakers for me. Security is bad enough on cell phones, if a company can't even keep up with the monthly security updates from Google for Android, forget it. And what is the point of a phone that does not fully support the network capabilities of one's carrier?
It's easy to miss some of the underlying technology issues where OnePlus cuts corners, but there are reasons they are able to sell their phones so much cheaper than other flagships.
And insane thing when Google trust HTC for build pixel.. Lol i don't know why they trust HTC
Anonymous, 26 Jan 2017Google = the new Apple of Android brandReally? You know how much Apple have sold their iPhone 7/7+? Compare with pixel!
Water resistance is a must and they need to make the cameras colour balance more consistent. Also better video recording please. Thanks.

Stock-like experience w/ useful tweaks and extra customization. Good looking and slim. Price is good. After a couple months, I decided i wanted something smaller. Since there are no more smaller android phones, Im using an iphone 6s. If google makes the pixel smaller and not butt ugly like it is now, or oneplus makes a smaller phone, I may go back to android
AnonyGoose, 26 Jan 2017R.I.P. everything the Nexus 5 stood forOnePlus is just a new nexus. OnePlus 3 is insane phone. I have it and it is the best 400€ spent. Active community.
pixel is a huge deal breaker just because camera is insane, and performance is kinda very low, but price tag is high. OnePlus all the way for me then.
Using the XL for just over a month and still love it to core. Best phone I've ever used. Gonna change when maybe Pixel 3 launches LOL.
Reduce all the bezels a little but keep the screen 16:9 and I'm in. Not so happy with the rumoured higher price though!
That's right Google. Further alienate a bit more of your customers by a price hike and limited availability of your flagship device. That should get your game rolling.
Confined to developed markets? Does google believe people outside the us still use cheap phones or feature phones
