Now that LG jumps into the water resistant bandwagon plus more than LG G2 can offer, then LG G6 is the biggest hit in 2017...mark my word...
to you people who always complain about a lot of things. you dont like LG so what? you know which phone you like so what do you want here must we slaughter you a rat? please get a life and live it. no body cares about you hating the device so it would not hurt you to shut your mouth up and stop wasting your time on things that does not evolve arround you. every time samsung this apple this. so what?
Jacky, 30 Jan 2017The history of LG devices in the last years is not good. Motherboard issues, Boot-loop Issues.... moreWould you rather have a Note 7 R.I.P. that explodes and is banned by all major u.s. airlines? Lol.
at least they have a good excuse to ditch the removable battery, it being waterproof. cant say the same about sony's new lineup (excluding the xz and x performance)
Good for LG. The G5 was interesting, but is obsolete when Moto released the Moto Z. The modular concept done by Moto is just superior than what LG came up.
So yeah, it's wise for LG to quickly move on to features that people expect on flagships, like waterproofing.
LG is only getting less and less popular in the mobile segment, as people realize it's an awful smartphone manufacturer which doesn't even bother taking care of the problems. Most of their phones were big flops, except from the G2. The G3, G4, G5, V10, V20 were ''meh'' and each phone had its problems, and now the LG G6. I wonder what kind of problems will it have. Perhaps overpricing? Maybe bootlooping? How about both? Don't buy LG. You'd rather go for Samsung, Motorola, Huawei, Oppo and OnePlus.
lg sux.. anything they make samsung makes x10 better so what will u buy ? lol easy choice for most.
Wait, we have a Vote Pool based on a rumored device? Even one step beyond, we have a versus with a released one? In what scenario will the G5 not lose?
The history of LG devices in the last years is not good. Motherboard issues, Boot-loop Issues.
I like the slim and waterproof design but i won't buy one because i know that 14 months from release the device's motherboard will die and it will have boot-loop issues just as the LG G3, LG G4 ext.
I might buy one when the device will be under 300$ (next year or two)
Anonymous, 29 Jan 2017And what about the future?V20 had best processor for time and it can be enough at least 5 years.
Anonymous, 29 Jan 2017And it has a lot of flaws, for example the shattergate (fragile camera glass). Also, it does n... moreI also agree but u said you want a high end phone with removable battery and SD card, is it too much to ask for? that's why I said that. now a big removable battery and heat pipes and also much more so this is really too much to ask for. Because if they give you 3500 mah removable, competitors will have 4500mah non. So you'll still not satisfied and and will say battery not big enough. U can fit a bigger battery if it's sealed.
"Apple will have something better" is just there to make fun of Apple lol.
Removable battery fa, 29 Jan 2017The only reason i was thinking to buy a lg phone was removable battery.now without that i won'... moreHere another complainer.
"Oh, I would have buy it if it have removable battery. Blablabla. I was planning to keep it for few years. Blablabla. No removable so it will be dead in two years. Blablabla. I rather buy phone with removable battery. Never going to look at this brand again. Blablabla"
Then, next year the same idiot come back looking for a new phone eventhough he said he is keeping it for few years with removable battery.
Anonymous, 29 Jan 2017They need to develop a new kirin 970 to beat the sd835Of course but kirin 960 beats sd821.
Anonymous, 29 Jan 2017LG go for Kirin 960 better than Snap Dragon 821!!LG never used Huawei's SoC. Plus. GPU wise the snapdragon 821 is WAYY better than Kirin960's. (But CPU wise. you're right)
Anonymous, 30 Jan 2017You do know that nothing stops you from buying an extended battery or a spare... that's pretty... moreSo, I wonder why all the people who already own smartphone with removable battery from a few years back wanting a new smartphone? Isnt the purpose of buying a phone with removable battery is that so you can keep the phone for many many years without buying new ones? Like say, you bought a smartphone with removable battery in 2013 and already planning to use it for 7 years by buying new batteries every few years and will not buy a new phone. Then, why you come here looking for a new smartphone??? Why??? I dont understand these people complaining so much.
