I would stay clear of the KG800 regardless of the update. LG was TOTALLY USELESS when contacting them in regards to various issues with the phone. I sent to their repair center 2 times, and the phone came back the same. Mainboard was replaced, and still had issues with the phone. I finally managed to get LG to accept responcibilty of the phone, and they replaced with a new handset. I now still have problems which must mean they are typical of that model. Issues include: Calls dropping out constantly (it's not the provider as I have tested this), memory of the 'additional' words in dictonary getting filled? (after a month of use, its forgotten my added words, and when re-entered it seems not to save them), volume of calls very low, vibration feature does not always work. This phone is RIDDLED with bugs. I would stay AWAY! I'm selling mine just to be rid of this damned phone. I have owned MANY mobiles prior to this one, and this is the worst to date. LG should stand for "Looks Good" and thats about all it does. Save your money, and buy something else! Thats my 2cents.

You're Realy talking about E900 not D900... D900 doesnt have a touch keypad but e900 does and its ideed similiar to LG K600

SAMSUNG D900's outer touch keypad is indeed similar with the original CHOCOLATE.Tht's because, SAMSUNG COPIED it.The original CHOCOLATE came out be4 D900 fyi.

The keypad is similar to D900?? What part of the keypad is it similar to D900??? First of all, the front of this phone is TOUCH SENSOR, what part of the D900 is touch sensor in the front?? the parting lines obviously tells that it is Tactile keys! OK, going into the inside keypad, D900, not comfortable at all, and I'm pretty sure that it's not touch keypad! So where did you even get the idea that this phone's keypad is similar to D900??? One more thing, this phone came out before D900, it's only being introduced later in Europe

Is it just me or do you think it would look better all black without the 'platinum strip/trim' on the front (with the white highlights aroudn the edge of the phone?
Otherwise very very nice!
