The specs look great. They have a huge advantage because of the Super AMOLED Plus screen. HTC can't offer me that. Currently I am using a HTC Desire, so I'm no Galaxy S fanboy.

I offcourse keep in mind that if TouchWiz 4.0 still sucks, I will put on some Custom ROM with Stock Android.

The only problems are I still don't see any European release date.. and I'm not sure what's going on with the Tegra 2/Exynos versions. Will the Exynos chip perform good in the end? Will the Tegra 2 Galaxy S 2 be exactly the same? (I heard they wont use the SAMOLED + on it)

Anyone who can afford these phones can afford a decent case. There's no excuse not to use a case aside from showing off your phone.

The plastic on my Galaxy S can take a fall.

Actually, the best android phone fo 2010 was the Desire HD, get your facts right =] and the galaxy S 2 looks so damn ugly, very very similar to the samsung scotia but just bigger, it is beyond me why they would do this, they could have put some kind of thought into it atleast. none the less the hardware of the galaxy S 2 will be amazing, but it wont be long before every new smart phone been released will have the same, 1-2 months.

Well, Samsung has basically put all their resources and development into ONE single phone, so it's no wonder they consider it to be their flagship. LG on the other hand are putting out THREE different beasts, all with different (and very good) selling-points. The LG dual-core has already been available for a while. I would love to have the LG Optimus Black since that display (the "Nova") is even brighter than the Super AMOLED Plus (yes, it's Retina display on steroids). LG is also doing a damn good job coming up with brand new inventions, like their 3D tablet/phone. It'll be awesome to get a hold on all of these phones once they hit the stores, feeling them out.

Whats the chassis made out of? is it metal or plastic ? If its plastic....once you drop the phone it will snap in half....can anyone confirm?

I'm using galaxy tab for 2 months and it's nearly perfect.the main advantage of it over others is it's phone capability and i was hoping that tab2 to offer this option but in my point of view it's a big disadvantage and puts it besides other tablets and it will be harder competition for samsung.

I really liked SGS II but the benchmark tests I saw between SGS 2 / LG 3D / Motorola Atrix... Ive got disappointed with Samsung
