I thought the case "note7" would be over
Julliard, 09 Feb 2017I always doubt China work ethics. Do they really ensure quality at all? Didnt they follow the ... moreMay be. That why apple shift in india.
AnonD-507364, 09 Feb 2017This is the reason why I have advised all my friends not to use Samsung anymore.
Go for bett... moreBetter brands like Sony and HTC? Better to invest in 3T than these 2 brands.
Nothing more to say here. "Captain flies away".

Go for bett... moreIf this is the reason, then you are putting a bandaid on a broken car axle.
Samsung, Sony and Panasonic are 3 of the biggest litium battery manufacturers in the world, all of which had exploding battery issues. So your HTC might just have a Samsung designed battery. Same goes for Sony - say they needed surplus, because their resources were already tied up. Thats how it works in a global economy...
Here in Philippines if there's a fire. Wait for half an hour for 1 fire engine to respond :D
I always doubt China work ethics. Do they really ensure quality at all? Didnt they follow the new battery policy released by Samsung? SDI really need to step up its game. Stringent protocol needed for their factory. Make sure no one slacking off. This make chinese looks incompetent at handling something as easy as manufacturing batteries.
Anonymous, 09 Feb 2017you can't sat it will not happen to the 8th series since they are not out yetAnd you can't say it won't happen to any other device. What's your point?

Go for bett... moreYou mean which have also had melted batteries before completely negating your point?
Not to mention the hardware defects they have each had over the years
Goodbye Shamsung Hello NOKIA!!!
AnonD-237381, 08 Feb 2017It's a design flaw specific to that battery model.you can't sat it will not happen to the 8th series since they are not out yet
I guess that's because now they test batteries against "heavy misuse". They literally destroy them.
Either way, I am waiting for the huawei P10 and Nokia flagship
Why are we assuming it was note 7 why not s8?
This is the reason why I have advised all my friends not to use Samsung anymore.
Go for better brands like Sony and HTC
19 fire engines... Bit overkill don't you think?
Note7 owner, 09 Feb 2017Honestly that company shouldn't be allowed to make batteries for anyone. A lot, hell lot of portable flashlight, portable fan and powerbank are using Samsung 18650 battery cells... :)
I'm more worried about the ecologycal and health impact of the chemical fumes on chinese population, than the model of the batteries.
shameshungchinesecra, 09 Feb 2017my nickname says everything. goodbye piece of cr@p company.Your just a single grain that can be found on the beach. Samsung or other companies will just roll eyes on you. They don't care your opinion.
