Anonymous, 09 Feb 2017sovereignty of nations? it is 2017, globalisation is great, even UK still wants EU benefit... moreThey never even paid a single cent in all the years since they entered the EU. All they ever did was leech.
Anonymous, 09 Feb 2017You listen too much on the lies and conspiracy theories from RT and other disinformation/propa... moreYou comments have nothing to do with the profile of the site and many EU citizens do not share your extremist and anti-national, anti-patriotic political views.

EU is based on liberalism, freedom, and free trade and free movement of people! Democracy is all about we together change the things we do nor like, EU bureaucracy...! Accusing immigrants or all muslims, or all jews..., being the cause of all problems is not "free speech"! Brexit was based on lies, accusing immigrant workers/taxpayers from Poland and Sweden... being the cause of criminality and unemployment and high healthcare costs and...! UK is not a part of Schengen so they already have total control over their border against anyone from outside EU! All over EU racist/fascist political parties accuse immigrants from the rest of EU being the cause of every problem! Putin wants EU, democracy and freedom..., to fall apart, and RT, and paid "trolls", is one of his tools to make that happen!
EU should be one market with the same access to Netflix... regardless of country!, just as all and the same access is available in both California and Florida... in USA!
Anonymous, 09 Feb 2017For example economical, cultural, national, legislatorial and governmental freedom is non-esix... moreOh, the "truth sayers", I forgot about them (my bad)... those repressed folks who can actually say what they want and may do as they please except that people (outside of their echo-chamber) do not agree with them, so they call themselves censored and repressed.
The freedom you talk about is the one of others having to agree with you (and restrict their freedoms to your whims), aka NOT freedom at all.
Anonymous, 09 Feb 2017You are closed minded.Oh please, elaborate.
Anonymous, 09 Feb 2017Which lack of freedom? I think traveling around the EU without having to be controlled is freedomFor example economical, cultural, national, legislatorial and governmental freedom is non-esixtent in the EU. Also, there is no free speech. You can't tell the truth because it is politically incorrect and they label it as "hate speech". The whole western media is biased and controlled by the establishment and they're washing out the brains of people. The purpose of the EU is to serve the interests of corporations and the establishment like George Soros and to enslave and steal the resources from the peripheral and Eastern European countries.

'Cause only those rich snobs use this fangled new thing called "internet" which allows them to buy stuff from other member states and stream it to their homes, all without ever leaving their couch.

The "lack of freedom" you refer is actually lack of power to remove others' freedoms (such as watching content that was already paid within the EU, you know: the topic in matter!)

Anonymous, 09 Feb 2017Of course they should not be. They didn't want their fellow Europeans, now they won't get our ... moreOnly about 37% of the voting population voted to leave. The rest either voted remain or (Especially in the GSMArena age-group (18-35?)) didn't vote at all.
Result is the little-Englanders have dragged us out of the EU and into a quagmire.
BTW, good move by the EU.
Another nice move from the EU.
My carrier offers me a complementary service with the TV channels over 3g and I only need to use it when I am abroad, to keep in touch with news from my country but with this geo blocking I could never access it. Maybe now I can!
Geo blocking is probably the primary reason for people to continue pirating media. They should just make it flat out illegal to block content based on location.
Well done Anon, you completely missed how close the vote was. A little under half didn't want to leave, and a considerable amount of folk who voted to leave regretted it and wish they'd voted the other way. Some of us actually like being part of the EU and believe that leaving is a selfish and arrogant move. But hey I was in an area who voted to stay. In regards to the whole geo-blocking I think it's a great idea to abolish it, much like roaming charges on phone networks.
