Samsung Galaxy S to get updated in Germany and Italy this March - read the full textA tweet from a source close to Samsung Germany says that the Samsung I9000 Galaxy S will soon get a Gingerbread update. hopefully in malaysia they will get updated version of android 2.3 ..
really enjoy with android. hopefully more game will come to android as they have increasingly user from day to day.

Haha, Samsung is such a poor company. They should leave the mobile market and only create screens because that's the only thing that they are good at.
They are telling that they will update the phone only to make people stop crying for updates, Samsung doesn't care for its costumers. Take a look of what they did with Omnia HD users... Just like they abandoned them, they will abandon this overated Galaxy S crap as soon the S2 reach the market.

I flashed 2.2.1 European firmware last night using ODIN and it is SO fast, absolutely no lag and not bothered waiting for my phone carrier to come out with a bloated version of theirs, which may never even come.

I'm in South Africa, I've installed 'European' 2.2.1 on my Galaxy S I9000, it's much better than 2.1. Can't wait for 2.4...
