Fail, 07 Mar 2017Nokia going 100% android or 100% windows will fail for sure Nokia should create segments $... moresorry bro you are totally wrong, nokia is gonna succeed when it is with android
Nokia going 100% android or 100% windows will fail for sure
Nokia should create segments
$0 - $100 = Windows 10
$100 - $200 = Windows 10, Tizen, Android
$200 - $1000 = Windows 10, Android
When HMD uses Windows they will get support push from Microsoft
and if they use Tizen, Samsung/Intel Will support
If they use %100 Android - God Save Nokia { Learn from Blackberry }

Nostalgia cannot be sold to the new generation
AnonD-424566, 06 Mar 2017Because 2g network is no longer in 2yrs time, they need a quick kill, all about profits I'm afraid! I believe their not after of the profit...their after of reviving their name in the MOBILE world and NOKIA 3310 made that name in the past...
The 3310 should have been designed for 3G in the U. S. I would already have one pre-ordered if it would work on ATT.
Anonym, 06 Mar 2017They shouldn't have done the 3310 stunt :( I think the pricing is quite good for the 3 and 5,... moreTo clarify, I meant opensource maintenance/support, not full opensource drivers (something which won't happen).
They shouldn't have done the 3310 stunt :(
I think the pricing is quite good for the 3 and 5, provided they follow-up their "stock Android" with proper opensource misc driver, board-config and such so that custom ROMs may thrive. They've got everything there to make something truly magic.
Anonymous, 06 Mar 2017why the 3310 is priced higher Because 2g network is no longer in 2yrs time, they need a quick kill, all about profits I'm afraid!
I would have thought the best way for Nokia to gain market share is to share a wide range of phones at different market segments in many regions. Instead all we've had is a nostalgia phone that doesn't work on 3G and entry level devices. Sadly HMD might own the brand name but they are not the Nokia we used to love and respect.
Nokia 5 in copper and Tempered Blue is very nice, but! One question: all of those are frontal black!? I guess 5 in Tempered Blue is frontal black! right??
Great pricing! Nokia is heading towards the right way :)
The best way for Nokia to gain some market share is with a sub 4.5" strong build quality, mid to high specs, and a good price.
Nokia 3310 pre orders: 4 older persons and a person who tried to order the Nokia 3 but clicked on the wrong link. Jk
why the 3310 is priced higher
