Sandy S, 06 Mar 2017What??? India is the most dynamic and prospective market my friend... and u talking about Russ... moreLol he saw the map and Russia looks biggest lol. India is fastest growing mobile market and second surpassing US. 1 MWC for China which represents West Asia, and India is both most technically advanced and biggest mobile market of Middle East so 1 MWC for India. And one for Europe and other western countries. One may ask why US included in "other" category, so because they don't deserve separate MWC because 50% of phones sold there are fruit phones and they line up to get one.
Jealous As Much As U Peoples Can.... We Indians Welcome MWC In India.... Hope It Will Popular Like Barcelona Event.... Nokia Samsung And Apple Already Committed To Make In India Phones.... And We Love It :)
BREAKING NEWS: Nokia is the MOST TALKED BRAND in MWC 2017 Barcelona. It was mentioned more than LG, Sony and Huawei combined according to BrandWatch.
Nokia will again steal the show at MWC 2017 India.
[deleted post]For your information, we didn't steal Hollywood, we have our own ORIGINAL bollywood bigger than Hollywood. And if you hate it so much than why are you staying here and eating our goods. Just go away.
Can anyone tell me how can I register for mwc new delhi? Are there any special invitations required or anyone can register?
ankit..., 07 Mar 2017Why anyone buy lumia for just nokia
At that time android craze is their i adopt nokia c6 rath... moreBrand Reputation is another thing that you mentioned.
When you say Indian people have at least one NOKIA at home, A feature phone from Nokia which has no app at all is slightly pricier than a Lumia 520 which has at least some essential apps for today use.
If Indian people know the Phone mostly by Nokia Branding, They must support what is inside of it, regardless of what is useful or not.
For a person(more than 60 percent of mobile phone users globally) who do their simple task, Call, Messaging, Social (Facebook, Twitter, Telegram, WhatsApp, Line, etc.), Lumia 820 is enough.
So, People liked features inside Nokia, and when features limited to their eco system, naturally switched to another platform.
If you want to upload your High quality images from your 2010 DSLR to Instagram, shortly after taking shots, What would you do?
Use a Laptop/Mac Book?
Use your iPhone/iPad?
Use a small converter for OTG, and use your Android smartphone?
Software rules the world. Features are mostly software side than hardware side.
If a proper app was not available to record movies in 2160p, What sensor itself could do this?
This is good news. But I think its better for Indian people if they can get access to latest technology at the cheaper rates. I was told that there are hefty charges/import duties there, which increase the prices. Hence, Indians cannot afford the latest they are forced to buy outdated tech which leads to poor productivity. My view of technology (such as PC, Laptops, processors, RAM, etc ) is that they are tools of creating business, and as a country India needs to encourage its people to do business using technology. And that to happen the prices of latest tech should be brought down, so that more startup companies can afford them.
[deleted post]Always copy. No better than China. Its like a second version of China. Copy copy copy. Btw, as someone already asked, why in India. Isnt it for southeast asia? I just dont understand these people.
Anonymous, 06 Mar 2017Jealous much ?What for? We had MWC for years in China. Lol.
HL2017, 06 Mar 2017You are wrong.
If what you said is right, why Lumias were doomed there? Why anyone buy lumia for just nokia
At that time android craze is their i adopt nokia c6 rather going for lumia 720 at that time
And my nokia c6 is not android
And i feel very ashamed that my friends have android and lots of apps
And i stuck with c6 just because of nokia popularity
The Real Guest, 06 Mar 2017India is the most overrated market. It lacks an audience for buying services, people want ever... moreUnlike others who depends on contracts , we pay a hefty premium to the gadgets at a time ( 1.5 to 2x ).
[deleted post]Originality is overrated and over-romanticized. As long as it works well, sells well, does not blatantly break laws, it's fine.
I think GSMArena should correct some parts of the article. India is not part Southeast Asia.
It is actually in South Asia.
Anyways, India is the right place for MWC.
Can't wait for the Nokia flagship!
I hope Nokia still nailed the show, they will become more trendy than others
