ARITOR, 07 Mar 2017Seems like people going for LG & Sony this year after note7 fiasco last year.Errrrrr are you on this planet??? I can comment with authority on this subject as I was Note7 buyer but sadly not owner.
Will I buy the LG G6 hahaha you have to be joking £650 for a phone with last years processor? Plus in the UK LG are not trying to shift there handsets with £275 of accessories unlike Korea.
Sony XZ PREMIUM I assume your referring to? Well why would I get a 4K screen that doesn't support VR? As I'm writing this I am using my Z5 and sadly it's the reason I will never get another Sony phone again unless they change to producing phones with decent materials.
The logical replacement for a Note7 would be the next gen Samsung in this case S8 Pro, Had this phone came with a SPen and/or 6GB RAM it might have been worth it, From what I understand it doesn't.
So what does a Note7 non owner do? Wait for the Note 8!

South Korea has 60 million in population, just 40 000 pre-orders is simply a joke
$800 for SD821. I think this is too much. They should have kept the price a bit lower to gain more sales number. Also, I would have thought of S8 if I had this much money to spend on a mobile. 😓
40,000 may seem like a small number, but keep in mind this is only the numbers in KOREA. Also, many people in South Korea already own flagship phones so this number isn't very small. I'm sure it'll be a lot larger once they launch the phone on a global scale.
Wow!!! Just 40,000 Pre-Orders? Not exactly awe inspiring and if you remember they are giving away was it $300 of free goodies to Korean buyers.
I wonder how many of that 40,000 would exist had there been no big freebie offers???
If they have good brand power in china, the pre-order numbers may be over 10X....
Esthersm, 07 Mar 2017Keep telling that to yourself, 40k in their home country, thats a shame no matter how you want... moreWell, if it's enough to make news about, surely it's an achievement. You didn't see Sony have any news about it like this when it launched the Xperia XZ, nor the Pixel, so what point do you have now?

It's a proven fact that if you run low on RAM when performing a task, performance will be stifled, or something of the like. Sure, things that are low in RAM usage, like simple web browsing aren't affected because they have such an insignificant impact on memory, but heavy tasks like intensive gaming will fill that sucker right up. Think of it like when you have too many tabs open in your browser, so your computer drops frames

Five Star, 06 Mar 2017Meh LG will still struggle. Companies like Huawei are selling a hell of a lot more flagships ... moreso .. if i will make a company right now.. and i start selling my phones.. i will say "ohh look company x and y sell more then me that means i`m not haveing profit ? i.m haveing problems with the "incomeing money"? or maybe i can say .. "well i`ll be soo happy to sell 500 phones.. sounds great.. i mean who stablish if someting its sell good or rwong ? the other companys.? in base of how much they sell ?
I want this phone so bad, I wish they will become more success than S8, of all in android LG is my fave

Xperia XZ with 3GB of RAM easily crushes phones with twice its amount of RAM. For instance, the XZ is actually faster than the 3T in web browsing, and as we know that Sony has a skinned UI while OnePlus has a stock android. Go watch it before you ask for something you don't even have an idea about
ZloiYuri, 06 Mar 201750 million people is a small country? Are you serious?Yeah, that's roughly just 0.7% of the Earth's population living in that country. I'd say it's pretty small
-NEOPHYTE-, 06 Mar 2017Maybe because 4 gigs of RAM is already enough... (¬_¬)Not until one boots up a game. Seriously, it's 2017, and flagships still can't handle RAM-intensive games, like The Trail. Plus, we've been stuck on 4 gigs of RAM for nearly a year and a half, so while our processing power has doubled, our RAM amount stays stagnant
