Yeah,monthly updates
That's ok for them who still get them.

For me I think Samsung is doing great with the updates, my S7 edge has Nougat and is on February Security Update whereas my Note 4 is on Marshmallow and on February Security Update too.
My Note 4 and S7 edge get updated on a monthly basis which is fine, I actually prefer if they did it every 2 months or so, having updates too often isn't good.
Challenge would be they had too many engineers working on Note 7 LOL
I still have a galaxy alpha (exynos) stuck on android 5.02 and security update dated April 2016....
Would be nice if they could commit to European units too. My German phone bought directly from the Samsung store only recently got Nougat... Always a month after other carrier branded ones.
Now do that in Canada too. These devices have to wait after all carriers updated them before they receive it (and carriers only give quarterly updates)
Good news!
Security updates every month for unlocked mobile phones - that's a good enough reason to steer well clear of anything produced by Samsung.
LOL, why would a phone need so many security updates in 12 month cycle? Unless your some kind of narcotics dealer! Seriously?
I bet they won't release Nougat till after the S8 is out smh
