My phone froze, and I have to pay my own shipping, the company call center did not let me know about this until after an email. Anyway this is the second time this happened. I'm on the hook for 200 dollars still. The first time they sent me a refurbished phone like the statement on the internet states. Another piece of crap. The second phone is only warranted for three months. When I turned on the phone this last time the screen went black, that was it. I want justice, where can I join this class action law suit, if anybody knows let me know thanks.

My cousin's g4 was on lollypop but it had issue of bootloop so it is not the problem with marshmallow
I have the same problem with my G4. I hope they will make an replacement or fix those defected phone which are not in warranty..
JordanBaby, 18 Mar 2017The point that everyone that plans on using Android should just go with Sony because they're t... moreSony has it's own fair share of problems though. Z1 waterproofing flaps wear off easily and can make your device soak up water prematurely and deny you warranty should that happen (experience from 2 of my colleagues). My sister also had a Z5 compact and had been occasionally freezing and overheating. She sold it at a loss and bought a Z5 standard so that she can have the same phone as her S.O.. While I haven't heard any major problems with her Z5 standard, she does complain how some of her photos look blurry, probably because the camera's MP count is too large for the actual sensor size.
No phone is perfect, but at least competition's there to give us options.
Mine bootlooped a year and a month after I purchased the phone. I lost the receipt, but fortunately, I took a picture of it. However, the warranty process is a pain as it's on extended warranty as I've bought insurance on this thing, but official warranty's only until a year in our country. The insurance provider is a 3rd party repair shop, however, they had problems sourcing for parts since there had been so many returns so they have decided to have the retailer handle the repairs after 7 weeks of waiting. I was to the point of demanding them to have my phone upgraded instead, but it was fixed quickly when it got to the retailer and I didn't have to pay for a dime after it was handed to them.
I had no smartphone for almost 2 months and resisted in buying a new phone instead. It was very hard, but it's also hard if you don't have any budget in buying a new phone. I didn't want to waste my money in buying a low/mid end Android device to pass the time. I also lost my 2FA keys and I had not really made any backups to some of my keys so I had to contact the customer service of several of my accounts just to recover them and remove the 2FA so I can login and manage my account. Also, I was having problems with my smart watch keeping the time (LG Urbane) since a shut down will reset the clock to 8AM.
Moving fast forward, 4 months after my phone was repaired, I don't seem to see any more signs of the issue since the motherboard was replaced with a new one. I'm only having problems with the occasional screen burn in which changes from time to time. I think second hand owners or those who bought the device at a grey market may have it rough since they do not have warranty on this thing and will be forced to buy a motherboard or throw it away instead, and they have no rights.
Few days back i was just about to buy v20 to gift my wife as it was available on healthy discount on Amazon but latter i changed my mind just because of the bootloop problem and guess what! I bought edge S7! Best phone in the world!
I had this issue with Nexus 5X and guess who build it ? Damn LG.
My LG G2 had a failed motherboard in just less than a year. Good thing I bought insurance for the thing and didn't have to pay for the hefty pricetag of the part. LG's quality isn't really up to par. Never had a Samsung phone fail on me.
