seems like any flagship phone with the latest qualcomm 835 system on a chip won't be cheap at all.
this may be true color leaks, but leak with fingerprint scanner at back are fake .i belive that samsung will not design ugly phones and that to flagships.
No way, 20 Mar 2017What the point if they put expensive price like that if they drop it few month?dont rush to buy it like a fool wait 6 months. Every year a new model comes
Anonymous, 20 Mar 2017Wrong. You have no idea how the system works and they are for bought wanting to buy one of mos... moreAndroid is Linux based. You always use more than 4GB of ram. Heck you'd probably use more than 8GB of ram if the chance was given. Android/Linux use all the ram that it has, it behaves to it as if it is a valuable resource (well, it *is*) and doesn't let anything go to waste.
Just read about Linux ram caching.
OperationBlitz , 20 Mar 2017I was so looking forward to this phone as filling a hole in my pocket where my Note 7 should h... moreIt's 2GB difference but it's not "only" since free ram to most 4GB phones is something around 2GB or less. So you/we basically go from 2GB of RAM to 4GB of ram, that's sounding the useful/usable ram (the rest is used by OS/gpu/components/OOM values and never really by the user).
This giant different is reflected on speed tests that check how many apps stay in background. 6GB phones can literally store twice as much data, thus twice the app count (barring some outstanding ram management issues), twice the browser tabs, twice the video buffer ... etc . Your phone is twice as fast ... 2GB is not little, it's much more impact full than getting your cpu from 2.3GHz to 2.6GHz ... not even close in fact (to how much more impact full it is).
-Android, 20 Mar 2017Yet s7 got rekt by OnePlus 3 on performance tests!I'd like to see it being rekt please. I haven't seen any test where it was rekt.

You have no idea how the system works and they are for bought wanting to buy one of most expensive flagship that is lacking in something phones of literally half the price have and have had since at least a year prior.
Maybe you should think of things like that before telling others they have to think.
And it's for comments and people like you companies can do these things.
And seriously. Oh you can't use that much ram so let's stop the advancement of technologies and pay more for the same.
And you tell others they need to think?
I dont like it to be honest. All reasons I used to buy samsung phones are gone - removable battery, remote control, proper buttons under screen. But they gave us edge screen which I dont like (looks nice anyway) , waterproofing (which I dont care about) iris scanner (never used fingerprint scanner on my note 4 so I guess I dont need it)
It became as any other phone really so Ill go with mate 9 for time being and wait for note 9 (because note 8 will be s8 with s pen)
No way, 20 Mar 2017What the point if they put expensive price like that if they drop it few month? In recent trends , Galaxy's has the most steady price ,it's iPhone which keeps falling at price.
What the point if they put expensive price like that if they drop it few month?
-Android, 20 Mar 2017Yet s7 got rekt by OnePlus 3 on performance tests! What really matters though, performance tests or real world usage? If both perform quickly and smoothly in day to day usage, then what worth does the performance test really have?
I like how the front panel is all black. This will help hide all those sensors at the top bezel. And in my opinion, black is the only colour that makes sense for any phone's front panel.

The S7 Edge is still 800 USD in China through official channels.

If Samsung selling that one with 4 GB RAM then that must be enough for the market all the whole world. You can't use more than 4 GB of ram in your phone ,whatever you do... so relax... I know this because I was using oneplus 3 before. And I am using Nexus 6p now which only has 3 GB of RAM.
