Breaking news: larger slab of glass breaks more easily than smaller ones. Longer phones also bend more easily.
OMG! That's pretty bad for a flagship device.
I'd rather buy the mid-range Nokia 6.
Silly HTC. My HTC 10 has survived 3 pocket height drops this week... My S6 which was also a stupid glass design broke in my pocket. Stop making glass only phones, plastic or metal (or even carbon fibre if you want) Get rid of unnecessary use of fragile materials!

Yeah, a lot. What can you ask more? Cheap price tag? Not cheap, but reasonable. $750. Yep, $750! I'm not joking, go watch the news
And for the same price, what does the U Ultra have against this? Even the superior G6 easily gets wrecked here. So you're saying that Sony makes bad quality phones? How? When? Did you ever read a news about an Xperia phone exploding on normal proper usage, or having its paint chipping out or the phone bending? Even the XZ held well for a plastic frame phone (Nexus 6P and iPhone 6/6 Plus were even made of better materials yet they failed the bend test, pathetic lol) and do I have to mention the IP rating that took manufacturers 3 years before copying and matching Sony's durability? And btw, who was the first to release Android 7.1.1? Who was the first to release February Security Update? Yep, they're of Sony! And who's Nokia's JollyOS partnering up with to continue? Yeah, it's Sony again! Sony! Bad quality means, you're just describing other inferior brands to Sony, or in short, all of the other brands
[deleted post]They dont copy news without credit. Dont you see the 'sources' link they always put at the end of the articles? Gsma is like a site where they compiled every tech news. They rarely write news 100% by their own. Their phone review are tested and written by themselves. They never copy review. Some are undoubtly biased but most of the time they do admit it as their own opinion and tell readers not to take their words for it. They encourage readers to build their own opinion instead of basing purely on their review. As if you are new here. You are a registered user yourself. If you dont like it you dont need to keep reading this site.
Just remake the HD2 with updated hardware and release the source code.. It will make you top again
[deleted post]Well, Sony and HTC both are making bad-quality phones, why should they get any other than negative comments?
Anonymous , 20 Mar 2017They destroyed this beautiful art of a phone. What a waste. It only means that its a cheaply made phone that's being sold at a stupendously high price!
Anonymous, 20 Mar 2017HTC = Help This CompanyNice copy-paste from the youtube comments on the video.
Jerry obviously said that this mostly happened because he cracked that back panel by that diamond tool, so come on guys!!
Anonymous, 20 Mar 2017its not like u gonna bend your phone like that or scratch it on purpose.. this video proves no... moreBecause even though these tests might seem absurd at first you then start to realise how manufacturers cut costs by using cheap materials and bad design and build quality.
Anonymous, 20 Mar 2017Could HTC design the phone more in Taiwan's styles, Identity is an Image, I can see U Ultra an... moreWell, Samsung was designed by Porsche which is the same for Huawei Porsche's design phone. Therefore, I can conclude that Porsche had some kind of involvement.
With last year's hardware, some very useful features missing and this build quality all in one device, HTC seems to be going the way of the dinosaurs. One would almost wonder whether they have just 'lost it', or are actually committing commercial suicide.
