most N8 or symbian users use the stock browser or opera and it's not laggy at all PR1.1 fixed that but what do you know since you base it of old info

I think nokia should pay millions to apple/google to help them make better browsers...LOL...otherwise they shouldn't offer such unusable browsers.

I really can't see any difference, so laggy and slow, very bad performace.

Real life scenarios ?? Maybe here is one : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RB3jblrudoo
You can see how fast, smooth, easy to use is the iphone browser.
And your right about flash iPhone would be at rock bottom if they compare flash because iPhone doesn't support flash.
Majority of mobile phone users already store too much personal information and detailed information of our loved ones and friends. If lost and in the wrong hands, the consequences can be...
With the number of iPhone's being stolen and lost, the inclusion of NFC on your handset in addition to your personal finance's at stake...
Mick, 15 Mar 2011Thats iPhone for you, always one step behind. They will release it on their next phone and cal... morethey wanna make money off of accessories or attachments for the iphone since other phones just have it built in
eg. radio transmitter and a radio nokia had for year but apple never put one in cause there making more money off of car attachments and same with the docks

Again, I would like to see differences in real-life scenarios.
And would be so funny if they tested Flash performance too, but if they did that, of course the poor iPhone browser would be on a unfavorable position, not convenient for american, is it?
I love to argue, 15 Mar 2011the benchmark tests various aspects of the browser. many tests like array, phrasing, string, r... moreI would like to see video comparassions because I can't see why Opera Mobile would lose in performance by such a margin, it's extremely fast and smooth. What's is your Android phone by the way?
Thats iPhone for you, always one step behind. They will release it on their next phone and call it iNFC, you can only use it with APPLE approved hardware, so stores will have to buy a normal NFC device support and then an Apple one.
Rahul_Cap, 15 Mar 2011Thanks "I love to argue", can you please tell me whether Nexus S has a dedicated chi... moreNexus S does have an NFC chip inside which is made by NPX. It supports read/write functionality.
craigy, 15 Mar 2011iphone will always be worth more than a n8 especially in the future :)Well, then prove it, FYI, I owned an Iphone, I don't see any good about it, exept for smoothness., The nerve, you replied to my post with this kind of immature comment. WTF!!!
I love to argue, 15 Mar 2011nexus s Thanks "I love to argue", can you please tell me whether Nexus S has a dedicated chip for NFC or it just supports NFC like SGS 2 without any dedicated chip ... thanks
diogo.rva, 15 Mar 2011Also, funny that the benchmark didn't even show what was tested. I don't see in real life scen... morethe benchmark tests various aspects of the browser. many tests like array, phrasing, string, rendering etc are done.
my PC browser (chrome) scores around 200,000 points, a bada phone (I tested) scores around 19000 and most android phones scores more than 20000 points.
the benchmarks were done by anandtech.com which is A reputed tech site (which does benchmarks) so the scores are very believable.
and i wonder which android phone u tried panning, because panning in my phone is perfectly smooth.
I love to argue, 15 Mar 2011you gotta be kidding....opera mobile better than android browser ???? Maybe you saw that in y... moreAlso, funny that the benchmark didn't even show what was tested. I don't see in real life scenarios how Android browser is better, all the pages that I browse load fast and everything is simply smooth. I just don't believe in everything that I read, but for you, to see N8 on a unfavorable position is enough for you to believe.
I love to argue, 15 Mar 2011you gotta be kidding....opera mobile better than android browser ????
Maybe you saw that in y... moreI simply said it is smoother, didn't said it is better.
Try to panning on a page on Opera Mobile and on Android browser and you will know what I mean.
diogo.rva, 14 Mar 2011Other phones don't use Opera Mobile because most of them have pretty decent browsers already. ... moreyou gotta be kidding....opera mobile better than android browser ????
Maybe you saw that in your wildest dreams.....Android and iOS browsers are lightyears ahead of both n8 stock browser and opera browser (in n8).
Here's a benchmark:
[deleted post]aanonim....you are not completly true , nokia had just made a deal with microsoft, beside this, nokia will be producing its own phones time to time and don't forget that nokia is working with meego also ..... let's wait and watch what's in the future....
Also can smone tell me is there any other smartphone except sgs2 that supports NFC
[deleted post]Hahaha, end up where? As the biggest phone maker that it still is? Nokia rule the mobile market, mate, when I say "Mobile market" I'm talking about the world, not USA.
Nokia can still lead even with such a insignificant market share on USA, that proves how it's a strong company. (:
I know you want so badly that Nokia lose its first position, but Windows Phone will make it return far away ahead from the competition where it always been. So Nokia will be big the way it is forever, it will never be small as HTC, SE and Motorola are today, that together don't represent half of Nokia market.
