X7 and C7? Move along, nothing interesting here.
Great news and all and I hope that it does well but I'm more interested in when they are going to show the Nokia Meego device. Anywho, glad to see Nokia doing something for the US. Hopefully that N950 announcement wont be too far from now (I know, wishful thinking right?).
i can read manga on my $150 brand new Symbian^1 Smartphone how about android phone offer at same price :p
Mick, 16 Mar 2011I thought they said that the N8 would be the last Symbian^3 device they would make?it's the last Nseries with symbianOS on it but i guess now they could be wrong since they have nothing yet and the model house is just finished now
i think nokia will always have the IT phone nokia n8 has everything i need in a phone plus more the fact i can drag my avi files to the n8 with out having to convert to mp4 like iphone or any other phone that only has support for mp4 no avi if this new phone that nokia is going to bring out tops the n8 ill have to get that i will never change from nokia win7 or symbian^3 ill always stick with nokia
Anonymous, 17 Mar 2011why do they keep on makin' these Symbian phones?! ...i don't want one lol!The answer is simple: they are not making them for you.
Mick, 16 Mar 2011I thought they said that the N8 would be the last Symbian^3 device they would make?Sorry Mick, I think you got the wrong idea. What Nokia said was N8 was going to be the last N-Series phone to use Symbian. Which could mean the new N-Series will have either MeeGo, QT or WP7. Hope that sheds a little light on many people that might have thought the same thing as you :)
why do they keep on makin' these Symbian phones?! ...i don't want one lol!

Get real!, 17 Mar 2011Dude, that makes it 301% ... :)LMAO
thanks for the reply guys, MobiCity seem like they have a good deal going 600+ is kinda expensive outrite Aus always has things mad expensive
hope is not another 8 megapixel-fixed focus camera... I can't understand why they've been removing the autofocus feature, from every single device released!!!
Its ok not having a autofocus in feature phones and low-end smartphones, but in mid and high range smartphones is a must!!! They sell E7 in a high price, and not aoutofucs??? I don't care about the CPU has long as it can run Symbian^3 fine....
MR A, 16 Mar 2011android fans 99%, apple fans 82%, nokia fans 70%, others blew 50%. Dude,
that makes it 301% ... :)

Hardware - I have not seen a single Nokia phone using 1GHz processor
OS - Cannot compare Android with Symbian. Nokia needs to improve and improve faster.

Fair enough....the wincrap os is not ready yet and they must come with something to survive. But how many people, they think would buy this dead os?!
From my point of view is waste of money.
AnonD-37, 16 Mar 2011It's not that we hate it, it's really behind in terms of UI and UX. Yes, the OS got a lot of t... moreYou will notice the investors lost faith once Nokia announced they are abandoning Symbian in favour of Windows Phone. This does not prove your argument, rather the contrary.
Mick, 16 Mar 2011I thought they said that the N8 would be the last Symbian^3 device they would make? No, they never said this.
They said they will release 20 Symbian devices this year though. And they'll continue making Symbian^3 devices for at least another 2-3 years.
Anonymous, 17 Mar 2011Do ppl here still think symbian device can make it? They better think hard. If Nokia really improve the UI as they promissed, who knows. It still ahead of the competition and miles ahead of Blackberry OS, Bada and other OS on the market, so it's all up to Nokia really.
