Wrong,it won't sell...i was expecting it to be a lot better than S7 edge, but there is nothing special for which i should change my S7 edge....most of the features and hardware are same
i don't see any reason to upgrade from the note 5 or the s7 edge right now to the s8...a note user will probably go for another note only...but i do have to say that side by side the s7 edge looks like a boy who went through an amateur haircut....the best option right now is to wait till a store near you gets both the g6 and s8 and check them out personally..that is if you own a 2 year + old device..
Savor, 30 Mar 2017Considering how Samsung is the worst OEM with software optimization and RAM management, I beli... moreThats true, but samsung still made alot more improvements and changes when compared to other flagships of 2017.
Savor, 30 Mar 2017Considering how Samsung is the worst OEM with software optimization and RAM management, I beli... moreExactly, S8 it's an design only upgrade from S7. But that will be more than enough to sell well for the uninformed audience(they know only specs, popularity and design, S8 is spot on) and that audience is 90% of people.
i think that they are wrong...
Anonymous, 30 Mar 2017But really is 6gb ram mainstream? Do we really need that much of ram? It's overkill don't you ... moreConsidering how Samsung is the worst OEM with software optimization and RAM management, I believe we do need as much RAM we can get.
I think the S8 is the worst update of the S line. From benchmark scores to a smaller battery. Same rear MP but with a copy of Google's HDR+ mode. They did upgrade the front cam. I don't see the big deal with the S7 edge and I don't see all the hoopla with the S8. Just marketing hype and slightly "prettier" design but nothing more.
Wait for the Galaxy X2 in 2018 when foldable becomes more mainstream and refined. From exposed screens to protected screens when closed like a clamshell or Nintendo DS/3DS.
Sir Wills , 30 Mar 2017I find it a bit of a let down since there's no 6GB RAM Are you trying to use that phone as a desktop? that is too much.. even 3GB is ok.
Anonymous, 30 Mar 2017But really is 6gb ram mainstream? Do we really need that much of ram? It's overkill don't you ... moreit is not actually, considering the use of VR in 4K and graphics processing.
Haha, that's not hard to predict, just think...S8/S8+ will be the single phones with the most powerful mobile SOC(835/8895) on the market till June... Samsung's marketing team kept the hype alive and roaring with daily leaks...And of course Samsung's brand is strong enough to sell anything at any price
Sir Wills , 30 Mar 2017I find it a bit of a let down since there's no 6GB RAM Seriously! I have 2gigs on my phone, tons of apps running in back ground and still only using 44%,6gigs is way to much!
