Early Auguts, Andorid 2.3.3 will be released for X10 (Not for X10 Mini or X10 Mini Pro). There will be several significant improvements and new features.
Some companies are releasing more frequently updates but that's because they're phone are not STABLE.
SE Provides major changes because once they produce, they do it well. I've tried more than 40 phone (Changing nearly every few months to try different phones since Ericsson GH688, Ericsson T68 or Nokia 5110 (that's my hobby). I've so much experience and observation about GSM phones and in my opinion SE is one of the best and stable. (I'm a Financial Auditor at a multinational company, not working for and cellular brand)

hi to allzzz.... talk about sony ericsson. i've use SE phone for a long time, such as A1018, T28, SE p990I, Se Xperia X1, SE Xperia X2, K800i... most of them awesome. i ever tried another brand, but it wouldn't satisfied me. i'm interested with this X10. i'm gonna get it one soon. i think SE should this kind of upgrade. most fans like the x10, even u could'nt get the second hand x10.

First of all there are several devices runing 2.3, the droid x has had it for quite sometime. So dont pretend were getting this early.
Second, all of you talking about buying your new arc, play(sony ngage), neos etc..... Wake up! SE screwed us with this phone and singing there praises for an update we should be getting now is just sad. Send SE a message and dont buy there inferior products. I'll upgrade my current p.o.s. and keep it as long as I can for sure, but to go out and purchase another SE phone? Sorry Rikard, to little waaaaaaayyyyy to late.
In short, dont listen to Rikard. SE dosent listen to customers, they listen to there wallets... and they wont be winning me back with a late update for unbranded eol'd "flagship" handsets.
