Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 to get Gingerbread in Q2, Q3 this year - read the full textNo - this isn't one of our April Fools Day jokes. It's the real deal, confirmed by the Sony Ericsson Product Blog and everything. It seems that the guys over at Sony Ericsson haven't forgotten about the godfather of their Android lineup, while promoting their second wave XPERIA smartphones....

Too bad they are not updating the X8. I hoped that it would be updated to Froyo

After a rocky year and almost loosing faith to SE I must say they made it up for me. Great News!

P.S.: Altho I've been waiting to get back my X10 from the repairer shop for a month now;)

I hope they also upgrade xperia x8 to official gingerbread pls SE.. I'm using custom froyo rom but there's some bugs

Only reason sony is giving the update for the x10 is because everyone said they were never going to buy another sony phone again .

Now that's what you call "updated". X10 users won't be left out in the advancement of the Android Os.

Wheres all the haters at? There must be someone not impressed with this? Oh thats right, got nothing to say now because we are supporting the X10? It goes without saying for me I LOVE SONY ERICSSON, this simply adds to what already is a good phone!

So funny how I see my X10 right now after this news... With adobe flash, smoothier user interface, and MOXIER out! Oh god... I will keep this phone for loooong time... I would keep it for long time anyway, but now as a proudly owner...
