Ale, 03 Apr 2011Android fans are trying to promote their OS and American phones by only arguing. They only talk... moreI agree with you, however, there are some people that might say "but GSMArena said that the N8 battery is not very good", in fact, if you only look to numbers the battery might look weak. But in REAL daily usage Nokia phones last alot more than Android phones, you can see that everyone complain about Android phones battery but not so with Nokia phones. However, if you want to compare battery life with stand by time, OK then.
I have a C6-01, that GSMArena said that have weak battery, I keep the Wi-fi connect all the day updating RSS and social networks, I listen to music alot and play games for hours and the phone last easily all the day.
Android fans are trying to promote their OS and American phones by only arguing. They only talk about their faster processors and less important things like that for smart phone user worlwide.
Does a smart phone need such high speed processors which limits phone's battery power..? What is more important? Uselessly high speed processor or long lasting battery power? That's what Nokia has done. See their battery skills. Cannot match any htc or iphone with that. Not because that Nokia doesn't know to make another 300mhr faster processor.
What about calling accuracy and efficiency? No complaints for Nokia about signal failures and thus call drops like for many other American smartphones. So really what's the use of having such a crap, called a smartphone even if we cannot take a proper call using that.
And while Nokia has all feature in it many American phones lack most important features like 2nd cam, radio, flash...etc
instead of those they put a little bit faster processor than Nokia (even though it is totally unnecessary..) and shot out that they are the best out of best. So what's the real point there????
I accept that Symbian is a step behind to android by inter face quality and apps. But all in all Nokia has done more than that to be the best out of best. Think fairly..!
Nokia always think about people who use mobile phones and about giving them more assets out of Nokia handsets. But most of other minor smartphone manufacturers do think of, how to be the number one by beating Nokia. They use to do that by adding useless things. But Nokia is still trying to give something meaningful to consumers and by that, to lead the smartphone market. That's why their innovations are slower than others. But they usually come up with great features with rather user friendly interfaces.
(Mostly I considered N8 with all the other brands)
[deleted post]Wow!!!, you are so great!!! in saying non-sense. What are you guys doing here? Every time GSMArena is posting news about nokia, there are lots of trolls coming. Do you really hate or do you love Nokia?.., lol. The more you hate, the more you love, right? lol
Anyway, this T7 thing coming from a chinese website is so suspicious, if you notice, the build quality is not as smooth and as perfect like C7, N8, E7 and even other nokia phones. I don't even believe if the body is anodized aluminum, sounds like it was just a silver paint. If this is a T-series phone it should't have Nseries Labeling at the back, and if Nokia released a prototype, it should be labeled as CO, (correct me if I'm wrong). And lastly, look at the Camera labeling, it is written in bold "8 mega pixel" not usual with Nokia.
To me those pictures are not to be believed unless it came from a very reliable source. If anyone has noticed, that phone even has 'China Mobile' sticker on it. How could you believe those chinese if they are the master of producing conterfeit products?
Whats wrong with Nokia........same design as N8, E7??!!!!1 no new out-look....
Eingild, 03 Apr 2011If this is a mere Nokia N8 downgrade, I'll give up my long time affair with Nokia. If this device is really real (which I doubt) and you don't like it, you don't need to buy it. So what's the point?
If this is a mere Nokia N8 downgrade, I'll give up my long time affair with Nokia.
It's just a Chinese-market version of the N8. Move along please people, nothing more to see here.
One of the few things I dislike about Nokia is that if they make one new phone with a fresh new design then if it's popular they'll then make tons of even newer phone with the same design- N81/N96/N85. 5800/5233/5230/5235. And now N8/E7... And with more or less the same specs... With the exception of some of above of course... The only phone I find good looking and different is N97 but too bad it has mediocre performance.
[deleted post]Symbian is lighter OS than e.g. Android. It doesn't need so high powered processor.
For the specs and that stamp I say it's going to be Meego phone. Don't think that WP7 runs with so low CPU. And Nokia told to people that N-series last Symbian phone was N8.
I want a N8 slider,(E7 does not have fm transmitter and SD card slot.
I don't think it makes any sense now to make more and more Symbian 3 phones as existing handsets are not even seeing the sunlight out of stores. Maybe after launching windows phone, this all can work, but not a right time for Nokia T7-00 at present
