Anonymous, 06 Apr 2011I'm wondering what makes you think they suddenly changed it to single-core?
It's obviously ju... moreHe (sorry, I'll assume you're male for now) was talking about dual MEMORY vs single MEMORY, not that they'd change it to a single core (which they'll ovbiusly not do).
And as have been mentioned many times before (even here in this comment section) but it seems to need repeating since people still don't get it:
Samsung Galaxy S II DOES have HDMI out, allthough it's sent through the micro USB with MHL.
The reason is pretty simple - their CPU benchmark totally s**ked at 1GHz. Now it's just a gimmick to fo*l us.
maRiozLp, 06 Apr 2011cool phone but pricy and no hdmi out...it do support hdmi out by using MHL cable ;-)
if not wrong, the usb to hdmi cable will come together with the phone ;-)
I wanna see how is the performance using 1.2Ghz clock speed.
what is with everybody telling there is no hdmi it has mhl which combines both usb port and hdmi in one
IVI A X, 06 Apr 2011so the speed is on par with O3D now?
dual-channel mem 1ghz -vs- single-channel mem 1.2ghz
... moreI'm wondering what makes you think they suddenly changed it to single-core?
It's obviously just clocked higher, not changed the whole CPU :-)
1.2Ghz?! That's sweet! Hope it wouldn't affect the battery life much though.. Looks like the wait is worth it :)
It doesn't need a dedicated HDMI port; it's got a MHL port
maRiozLp, 06 Apr 2011cool phone but pricy and no hdmi out...Err... Hello??? The HDMI connection is provided by the MHL port! If you had said no "HDMI-3D out", then that might have been correct. Please, make sure your information is right before just barking off such misleading statements.
nuthin beats this phone now.....comparing overall specifications and the samsung update is great now !! wow cant wait to hands on !!sammy good job!! :)
hahaha now is awesonme power??? 200mhz plus??? ok, the app that opens in 2.45 secs. now opens at 2.30 secs. 15 millisecons !!! oh no... oh no... now my game have 1fps more, thats almost real life !!! WOAAAAA !!!.... Now I have a reason to live....
i find 1ghz to be just fine , dual core is for the gamers (then get a xbox or psp or ps3 or wii of you want that)
