ankit..., 09 May 2017I think another benchmark cheatingdon't think so, could be F2FS and the newest UFS 2.1 AND KERNEL CHANGES
Xperia Z2 scores 1200 in SC and 2800 in MC with it
Kinda glad I held off buying the OP 3T, just hope the price doesn't skyrocket
Pardon limited technical knowledge. Why
Is the Xiaomi Mi 6 missing in the list?
Lolz, people are talking about benchmark cheating when it was only on one firmware. OOS 4.0.3.
Everyone seems to have forgotten that when the 3T was released it was still scoring 165000+ on AnTuTu...
Anyways benchmarks don't automatically equate to real world use. I'm more interested in the consistent sustained performance. S8 seems to not thermal throttle badly at all and is consistent. OP5 should strive for this imo.
ow how wonderful to see al you guys jumping ship and saying that these benchmarks are shit or they are fake or they don't mean anything.
Some of you guys are blaming oneplus for cheating and them being bitches about it.
Well i can remember that many others did the exact same thing and you don't hear anyone about that anymore.
Maybe it is probably just because it was recent but damn stop you stupid conclusions without any proof what so ever.
AND YES I have a good damn 3t and it is freaking fast and I DON'T f***ing care a single freaking bit what processor is in the next one as the current one is plenty fast.
For the guys saying that samsung is only worse of in the benchmarks because of the software, so what ? what does it matter if it is software or hardware ?
Please why don't you guys just go live under a rock for a bit and come back out when the phone is released and everything is tested and benchmarked by the tweakers and hackers who can figure out soon enough if anything was cheated.
Till than please keep all the hate and fanboyism for yourselves and wait for the final result.
You guys aren't making the market any better nor are you guys heros that will make mobile world a better place.
just wait and see.
-- end rant --
well looks like the phone is shaping up to be quit awesome in specs.
Pretty curious if they can keep this up and stay true to these specs.
Even more I hope they keep the pricetag at the same place as the current 3t
Frankly, these scores are not scoring. OnePlus has been known to "extract" the maximum scores from their chipsets. Whether it's using software optimizations or benchmark trickery, I don't know.....
Never cared much about these scores because they don't stack up to real world performance. It will come down to speedtests and overall experience to tell which phone is better.
I remember how this Chinese start-up was caught faking benchmarks with 3T.
Well i guess it may surpass by even more margin once official firmware release. These can be faked easily but we already know how capable is OP3/T so i won't be really surprised. They have history of best optimization.
Aand once again, Apple beats the sh*t out of other flagships in single-core score
ankit..., 09 May 2017I think another benchmark cheatingExactly
OnePlus boys are living in denial when the reality is already slapping each of them in their faces.
Anonymous, 09 May 2017Say what you will about score cheating, but OnePlus is great at optimization for day to day us... moreAh the super desperate OP fan
OnePlus just cheated, you can't deny that - your favorite brand made a crime just to sell
Want me to read the article?
"The report did not reveal which devices are suspect, pending more analysis, but it did reveal the manufacturers that were NOT CAUGHT CHEATING: HTC, Xiaomi, Huawei, Honor, Google, and Sony(!!!!!!). That leaves some very big names out."
And it's not highly optimized, but rather the super light OS and very powerful hardware, but aren't synchronized together as Google or Sony
Asking me to watch a speed test? Yes I did, how about you?
-3T just got humiliated by an inferior hardware using SD820 (vs SD821), 4GB RAM (vs 6GB RAM), and eMMC 5.1 (vs UFS 2.0).
Who's watching a video now, OnePlus fan? LMAO
AnonymouseX, 09 May 2017We do know benchmarks ain't shit. The reason that Samsung Exynos phones are slower than OnePl... moreSay what you will about score cheating, but OnePlus is great at optimization for day to day use. Just watch a youtube speedtest
Just like its predecessor, this is shaping up to be a close contender for the best Android smartphone of the year.
