Con: It does not have WiFi. It isn't quad band GSM.
Pro: It does have a qwerty keyboard.

no GPS like the N95? I hope it atleast has some good optical lens for the camera like Carl Zeiss or something comparable. I also hope that it has a decent sized harddrive...if it goes the iPhone route then that would be 4gb? Finally, for it to be a good competitor to both the n95 and the iphone, it needs to be slim and small...looks like its going to be thicker than both the n95 and Iphone however...we'll wait and see.

Samsung overall is a very promising company

Who cares if it a copy of the iPhone - Eventually all new cellphone ideas are copied by other manufacturers.

I think this one is much better than the iPhone.

Great looking phone. Much nicer features than the N95. Definately the phone to have!

The F700 will only be a copy of i-phone if it arrives in the market after apple. If we can buy the Samsung before the iphone the copy argument does not apply.

But the F700 is indeed a copy of HTC keyboard design. Nothing wrong with that.

I don't thinks this phone can't compete with N95, just compare but of them in the page, and you'll see, N95 has a lot more features.
The camera has no flash (samsung never does good cameras like NOkia or SE), it lacks IrDA, is not QUABAND,nor shows in which OS is working right now.
The only 3 good thinks, are it style, the touchrescreen, and the screen is a bit larger, but since there is no keypad in the front that is how it was acheived.
It seems to me like this is the iPhone v2.0

just like how if any mp3 player has a wheel navigator, its called an ipod rip-off, so shall any phone with a large touchscreen. why? coz apple made it first or they made it best. its not like saying they're any worse than what apple made, but its definitely a copy of apple products.

yeah, this is an iphone rip-off in terms of design and some functions. get used to it being called that - because there is no doubt, it is.

every phone that comes out and have a large screen no buttons isn't automatically called "iphone rip-off". But if Samsung does it, then it's a ripp-off. Except the qwerty key, i like this phone better than iPhone or LG Prada (design-wise).

yeah i guess its a good phone but like other Samsung phones, they can't even put a stupid fm radio... c'mon Samsung pack your phones with a lot of feature or loose again with Sony Ericsson and Nokia which will make better ones...

when the 5mp cybershot from se comes out i'll sell my camera and buy it because let's face it if K800 takes pics as great as it does think how it'll be with 5 mp but who knows maybe this one will take great pics too we'll have to wait and see

Samsung is making various designs and needs for different ppl.Phs like P940, F500 have their own style. nokia,moto,se dun have such form factor. Even samsung make credit card size ph P300 n P310. Indeed, this F700 is much smaller and thinner than most of the smart phs with same form factor. So, before u post, take some time n make wise comments.

also, i think we should not pair this is up with the N95, as they are tooo different,. i think the N97 could be a possible match.:)

and, SE could be a little tooo confident, they should release something groundbreaking aside from using xenon lamps. :)

OK, phone design WAY BETTER THAN iPHONE.
features, COMPLETE+MORE. iPHONE is no match at features.
camera, uhhmmm, would i have to mention that iPHONE still loses?
connectivity, once again. haha iPHONE==loser.

im not a fanboy but duh, its obvious this phone is WAAAY better,

right samsung fans?
