It does look like a cross breed between HTC and Apple. Samsung does seem to know who to copy to sell their phones...

People like to copy things that sell, and besides how do you know that apple did not get design plans from samsung or lg can you imagine what it would do to apple's stock if the general public knew the iphone was a knockoff, hah that would be pretty funny.

This phone looks great and the specifications just finish up the phone. I have a D900 and can't wait to add this to my collection. I hope it has the new windows mobile OS. But either way I'm getting it.

This is lovely - and practical! The touch screen feedback and stunningly simple interface are just what the market needs. Not to mention the slide out keyboard that is devoid of clutter. Why is it the nicest phones are always 'coming soon' and the crap ones in the shops? With GPS this machine would give the ugly and seriously overhyped Nokia 95 a run for it's money. Samsung get two things right: Construction quality and interface design. And that counts if one is to be a modern human - blending fun with business. It's 2007 folks. Rock-n-roll! (My P990i is on eBay.)

Come on people don't be stupid, to those who said, that the writters said it's a copy, they never told something like that! Learn to read, they only said that it remind them to Apple's iPhone but never called it a copy.
For me, the 3rd image make it looks like iPhone OS X. I'm pretty sure it is made to make a competence against it. I think this will be a truly revolutionary phone, although I don't see too much stuff in the full specification page... What Samsung deserve is true compliments for leaving the keypad. Touchscreen can't never replace keyboards, at least not now.
I hope Nokia can make something cool with touchscreen, the N95 is taking to long to be released...
