Man you people seriously need to unplug. These are cell phone. You know the things that people talk to each other on. If you buy a swiss army knife phone it does nothing well. INCLUDING talking on it. Don't be a loser and spend $500 on a phone. Take you spouse out for dinner or something.

Want a camera?
Buy a Canon.
Want to edit files, surf the web?
Buy a laptop or a PocketPC
Want a durable device to make calls, send sms, listen music, customize?
Buy a nice phone like motorolas.
Its as simple as that.-

Want all that in a device?
buy a big cheap plastic box fill it with crippled versions of all the functions u could imagine (useless) and name it nokia.

Finally someone who knows what he`s talking.
More mpx only means bigger picture. After 2mpx it is pointless to further increase the number of pixels without new technology sensors and lenses. Compare pics from real 3.2mpx cameras and 3.2 mpx phones and you`ll understand what we are talking about.

I am always amused at one of the things that people want out of their mobile phones: Better cameras :) should i point out that what makes a camera make a really good picture are it's lenses and it's sensors, and those can be quite bulky and really heavy, so they are unsuited for a mobile phone(i mean more megapixels meen just bigger pictures not better quality).
About Motorola, i'm a big fan because of three things:
1. I can take an aplication/skin from any motorola that has the same screen resolution as my phone(wich, compared to a nokia's from the same price range is...let's just say it's miles away) and i can put it on my phone with minor, minor adjustments.
2. I can plug in my phone on any computer and start transfering files from the phone to the computer ond viceversa with ease.
3. The motorolas look cute, like small jewls and feel great...and they don't have that "brick" feeling about them like other phones.
I should also point out that the phones from motorola have quite a good price/performance ratio (except the top fashion ones).
I should also remind you all that motorola launched the V360 in 2005 and this phone was, at it's appearance, one unbeatable combo. Nokia brought up an equivalent phone (the 5200 i think) in the fall of 2006...auci nokia auci :).
One more thing: I find the Z8 so interesting, especially because the unusual symbian interface and also the L9 sound good, as an evolution. Though i hope Moto will work better on it's finishings because the paint can sometimes be dissapointing...
Oh, and don't even start me on Motorola Modding, okay!!

Oh wonderful, it takes Moto 2 years to release a Q for Asia with 3G. And they wonder why they are having financial problems.

the motorola phones are ugly en the newer models the same .
don't they have any new inspiration at motorola . its like samsung , if you have seen one model youve seen it all.

same on them , make better phone's in the future , en take one good note ( make the battery's better , much longer standby time ) take an example at philips mobile , battery's up to 1 month and longer . thats quality for your money .

melt togheter ( nokia and philips or motorola and philips ) , these two togheter and they beat them all .
greatings alain
belgium ( mobile freak ) :)

Nokia phones are far better than Motorola. Having a sleek design without much features is useless. May be you can use it as a fashion ornament. My brother had Razr V3 and happened to drop it for 2 or 3 times, and alas the display is gone. I'll still go for Nokia phones for its reliability. Moto series :-(

i dont know whats wrong with you hguys motorolas are realy good phones no mather what ive had the l7 for over a year dropped it more then enough times to break a normal phone and it still works perfectly the thing wit motorola is there simple to use for every1 there not packed with lots of functions ull never even end up using ...what the point of a 5 megapixel camera if ur gonna pay so much extra for a phone with a good camera minaswell buy a normal camera i have to admit that the n95 is a very good phone but the only thing that suprises me there is how good they used the gps....and for ppl who complain about design.. its not old the thing is the design works its small compact alot of ppl including myself carry around more then one phone and when u have a phone like the razr it realy helps

I dont know how nag gets the ranking data or survey. But if you search through all the moto sets review in GSM Arena, you will get to see some people complaining about the dip in moto's standards and such. The first thing that attracts people is design followed by functionality of the handset and moto's running out of ideas in these two key areas driving away design-weary moto loyalists to try other brands. so nag, start playing around with other sets and you'll be amazed at how backward moto is!

well lets see if motorola would comeup to prove something to the mass. it's symbian phone looks promising, though it needs to be more/par in performing than the nokia's s60 one in OS performence.

Motorola has no creativity, they're still using the same outlook design again and again. Their user interface is just the same as well. Buck up Moto, look at what your rivals have improved.

Motorola has very low standards in terms of quality nowadays, especially with the V3, all of them are really really bad, but the worst one is the V3x. as someone said before, anyone that works with phones will go "oh no...again" when they hear "motorola V3...." they are just really bad. honestly, i'd rather have a W375 than a V3, at least the W375 doesnt cause any problems (that i know of).

3GSM has been terribly dull so far. When is Moto going to provide some real info on the SCPL?

@me (boy that sure sounds strange)
And how exactly are those phones "better" then Moto phones ? Because some of them have 5mpx camera ? When did camera become the most important part of a mobile PHONE ? Understand for once that your criteria for choosing phones is not the only one.
