To me, the best gesture area is still the touchscreen. Why would someone need a small area to introduce gestures when you can do all that directly on the screen ? Also, I believe that technology wise, if they introduce gestures, they may as well get rid of the physical button. Finally, I believe 3,6 is not enough if they really master component placement (and I believe they do). I think they can pack a 4" in the size of a iPhone 4. BTW, we might still expect an iPhone 4S (maybe named 5): only faster, thinner, with small improvements... since this is exactly what they did with the iPad 2. You might disagree, I'm just saying what I think sounds wrong in this argumentation. Oh, and one more thing, I dont see how they can get thinner than 8.8 mm (that's thin as hell already). I dont want my smartphone to break in my pocket (but maybe their Liquidmetal patents and carbon fiber technology will come into action earlier than expected).
