> In reply to [deleted post]Most surveys conducted will carry a margin of error, which usually falls between 1 and 5 percent.

Admittedly, researchers should disclose the margin with a disclaimer prior to announcing their finds.

As Lincoln said, "you can fool some, one time; you can fool most, many times; but you cannot fool ALL, all the time."

Apple fooled too many the first time it came out in 1997, and it was a great time for profits for Apple. But Apple jacked up the price, until it reached the roof, but Many people still bought it despite the low tech, and iphone 3G was a big hit.

Now, customers are WISER. Customers want CHOICES, and they want AFFORDABLE price and GOOD FEATURES; They want Free apps, and Better Hardware. They want to buy SMART, and buy only when they are satisfied.

iOS and APPLE "fooled" tons of people in its time, and that is enough. Now, people are FED UP and they are choosing a SMARTER option: ANDROID, which wont require them to BLEED MONEY every time they use their phone.

Now, the people chose ANDROID. Coz as Uncle Sam said,"you can't fool everyone, all the time."

It's Apple's decision to restrict iOS to Apple only, locking out 3rd parties. So the it's fair to compare the numbers of iOS phones to Android across multiple vendors. Apple's control-freak attitude would never allow for that.

> In reply to scofield @ 2011-04-27 16:46 from IVQw - click to read-I never experienced signal reception issue on iPhone 4, its better since my iPhone 3G, as good as my Palm Treo 650.
Guess you havent heard that apple admitted that themselves

-MicroSIM will be the future, just wait and see.
Mobiles are not so small they need to use microsim. its just marketing

-Flash is not optimized for Mobile, it non-sense to use on Mobile.
that may be true, but how do you explain a lot of browsers with flash in appstore if apple doesnt approve of flash

-No true multitasking for all applications>> Read more how it's being implemented. I don't have to explain.
It works like a dummy phone. end of story

-FaceTime video calls work only over Wi-Fi>> Does other Smartphone have this??? Solid implementation?
n900, to name one

-No file transfer over Bluetooth or USB Mass Storage mode>>>
i guess you should have given up before

-No hardware shutter key for the camera >>> So??? This is phone, get a camera if you want shutter key, and better photos.
why not both, ever heard of n8

-No FM radio >>> what's the use? You have media player.
there is no real reason not to put fm radio, a lot of people still listen to it. its not complicated or anything

-No stereo speakers >>>can you appreciate the stereo sound on a mobile? Get a mini-component.
ok, stereo isnt needed so much, but speakers on iphone are rubish

-No microSD card slot >>>So? Does it matter? carry a laptop if you have terrabytes of data to load coz even SD card cannot handle it.
it may not matter with 32gb on board, but 16 or 8 are to small. especially considering, lets say, hd video or hd games

-No smart dialing>>>???
well, iphone isnt trully a smartphone, so smart dialing isnt necessary

-Too dependent on iTunes for loading multimedia content>>> This one i don't like first, but when you get used to it, i like it even more, it's easier to organized and managed music.
Still, using the iphone on a pc without itunes would be more practical

> In reply to scofield @ 2011-04-27 16:46 from IVQw - click to read1)No idea,I have iPod
2)Great,so Steve Jobs says something is future, you go and believe right away
3)Again,who said its not optimized?Steve Jobs?...I am really really happy with my flash player on my good old N900...
4)No,it doesn't have true multitasking,it kinds of suspends the apps, thats why not all apps can go to background
5)YES!my N900 has it!and that supports skype/google talk and... better being jailed to Facetime, and oh,N900 is 2 years old
6)You cant say USB storage mode is not good...what I should do if I hate iTunes?Guess what,I've gone to my friends house and he doesn't have iTunes and I want to use my phone as storage, now what?!
7)I agree with you :p
8)FM radio is not really useful, but Media player as FM radio doesn't make sense to me
10)Ridiculous!So if iPhone was 100 mb then you said,I do not care,I have a laptop for it?!
A phone which costs that much,NEEDS to satisfy my storage requirements...
I felt that this answer was sent from a pure fanboy...
11)Personally I do not care about smart dialing, they are not really accurate anyways

> In reply to Shreshth @ 2011-04-27 14:07 from vbRF - click to readOne phone is a false assertion. I count 4 and soon to be five; iPhone, iPhone 3G, iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4,. At least two of which are a available at any one time. They are amazingly similiar to each other. Although I would like to blame it on creativity or lack thereof, arrogance is the more likely source. xman

> In reply to hotchocolate @ 2011-04-27 17:44 from tV4V - click to readI completely agree with you. Apple tries to apply high school style peer pressure to make you the bad guy for wanting a choice. I couldn't believe it when my iPhone wouldn't let me adjust the fontsize nor create shortcuts to my most common tasks. It's kind of like going cloths shopping and being told we have only one size. xman

Apple is run by greedy b's who only like to play when the deck is stacked in their favor. It serves them right that Google's open architecture Android platform has passed them by. I've never downloaded an Ap from the iStore, nor purchased a song from iTunes. I never will... Hopefully soon, RIM will wake up from their coma and bury these guys as well.

> In reply to anon @ 2011-04-27 16:47 from mqMt - click to readmakes no different..IOS still will be underdog..Unless apple release different device which contains QWERTY keyboard,Gaming Controller,Slimmer etc...Consumer are not stupid to waste their money on something which doesn't fit them, example businessman prefer QWERTY thats why they chose android phone with QWERTY keyboard and Blackberry...Apple doesn't provide them any choice, so for those who wish to use IOS but don't like the design still have to buy iphone4 because they had no poor of them :/

I guess ppl were bored to see the same old design of iOS since 2007! no homescreen so no question of widgets. iOS is all about a menu with fixed icons.
