Um why buy this when the next gen phones have been released or are about to be? I'd just get a galaxy s2 tbh, 1080p, dual core, 4.3 inch blah blah blah :()

Who cares? The new iPhone will be out in 2 months, just wait until then and have a newer vastly overpriced phone, instead of an older one.

iPhone 4 is still very cabable phone and it will be for a long time. It runs everything extremely smooth and fast.

IPhone doesnt fight for the same customers with galaxy s2 that much, most of people don't want huge phone. IPhone is still best pick for average users and there's lot of people in that market group :), galaxy s2 isn't for them neither htc sensation etc.

They did release the white version not at the same time with the black one just for marketing reasons.
Some of black iPhone owners (the "smartest" ones) will buy the white one. That's how you sell same product twice (it was almost the case with iPhone 3G an 3GS).

Originally I wanted a white iPhone 4 but it was ridiculous how long the wait for it was. So I bought myself a black one. I'm glad I did as it was astonishing that apple expected consumers to wait this long a period. I'm sure i was not the only one in this position and I'm sure many if not most iPhone 4 users took the same actions as me. Personally I don't think it was worth Apples time and effort(or lack of) to actually release he white product. End result.........waste of time! ; )

An iPhone that's WHITE !! Same design, same specs, same misplaced antennae, same looke but WHITE !!! What an innovation ! Im sure apple is going to apply for a patent !!

So what it's white I had a SE W800 years ago that was white. This is not NEWS worthy..... how much do apple pay web sites like this to add this as news when it is clearly marketing.

what so good about iphone 4? i used it for 1 month and now is in my drawer as a stand by phone when i got xperia Arc. Arc is far better then iphone 4. Really dont understand why is iphone so populer. sigh....! Monkey see monkey do.

So much fuss just because of a color... I have a white HTC Wildfire lol. Does that make me special as well?

I mean, couldn't they just release black and white at the same time? Instead they offer just black one and then after long time they release the white one to make some buzz showing that they are still alive...

we heard this last week, shame nobody can actually say the truth. it was on 3 the other week but it got pulled. then vodafone last week but not really. bit like the loch ness monster a myth.
