JY , 22 Jun 2017While contraversial, it might turn out to be a great idea. Firstly you get to sell your servic... moreIPhones virtually sell themselves, however the farther west you go, the more this situation is reversed with Android being the dominant phone, and everybody competing for a share
Other network will say offer you a choice of any the S8 or the LG G6, and you will get to see some of their best features, and also have iPhones on display so without walking into a Virgin store, you will have an indication of what is on offer in Virgins
Even some midrange phones will have specs comparative to iPhone 8, with flagships coming in at iPhone tariffs
I like flagship phones as they have premium components and specs, mid rangers are say 3 years behind what was flagship specs.
Competition tends to restrict price increases, however by offering much more PC comparable specs, they get to charge more. The Note 8 price dwarfs that of basic iPhone 32Gb.
Another problem is iPhones are yearly events
Anonymous, 22 Jun 2017 i wish virgin mobile uk also have a promotion like that :d
1£ :) for plan unlimited e... moreJust hope but That's not gonna happen.
They don't offer unlimited everything
Hmmm... Well I guess Iphone would be a top selling phone in the US, because even people with small amount of money would try to get an iphone for the status symbol..
i wish virgin mobile uk also have a promotion like that :d

haahah how about virgin mobile uk ?
FaceGle, 22 Jun 2017Well, I don't t think so or maybe it 's just Virgin U.S ONLY. Since I'm working to this compan... moreme too im working on OBMO and still we are selling like Samsung . LG , Sony even Nokia 3310 (2017) :)
The only reason they still exist is having the cheapest iPhone prices.
Well, I don't t think so or maybe it 's just Virgin U.S ONLY. Since I'm working to this company, at Virgin Mobile UK, most of the people in the UK are still using Android phone even though they are rich. That is based on what I see and observe to UK people.
what a fail
If I get it right, it's just that they won't be selling Android phones, but unlocked Android phones would still work on Virgin. Right?
Commissar Dinxy, 21 Jun 2017April fools...? That is the perfect way to completely screw up your business. They are leaving... moreThey have already tested that for years and clearly selling those cheap androids doesn't help your company much. They want people who have money
Fail! Also, why would you want your iPhone on virgin's service anyway? Exclusivity? Oh well, caviar dreams.
lololololololol
Commissar Dinxy, 21 Jun 2017April fools...? That is the perfect way to completely screw up your business. They are leaving... moreIf virgin own 90% more coverage and market more than others won't effect it's market
Okay, let's hope Virgin Mobile Canada won't do the same mistake.
When this Falls lineup of iPhone handsets are released how will the quoted options be effected?
Commissar Dinxy, 21 Jun 2017April fools...? That is the perfect way to completely screw up your business. They are leaving... moreThe reason is that Apple customers have the most money to spend on services.
Uhm, interesting. Wonder if you can buy the device and plan, switch the SIM card to a more worthwhile device and enjoy the same service...or are they that desperate to get everyone using iphones?
While contraversial, it might turn out to be a great idea. Firstly you get to sell your service on Apple store, which itself is a competitive advantage. Secondly instead of managing inventories of tens of phone models, you only need to manage those from Apple, which will save you a lot of warehouse and inventory management related cost. Then there are cost related to selling and marketing phones. Now they only need to do that for iPhones.
RIP Virgin it seems... The failure in Mexico and Peru wasn't enough for them.
