> In reply to Anonymous @ 2011-04-30 14:46 from sXD9 - click to readthere is a lot diffence...and not every webpage using Youtube as their player...your question is like this...1080p and 720p makes no defference on 32 inch TV?...is that so? Same as the phone..You could find the answer on high end phone such as Atrix 4G, Galaxy S 2 which could support 1080p video, u play it and comparing both of the video quality, then u would know...

So if you are away on vacation and dont have your computer, you have to wait until you get back home, yet with android, you can jump from froyo to Gingerbread with out using a computer. The Android phone tells you about the update, not syncing your ipod and waiting to see if there is an update

> In reply to hotchocolate @ 2011-04-30 07:49 from wc6B - click to readWhy would you want to play HD video on a phone screen? I can understand video capture in HD being useful for hooking your phone up to a TV, but when on the go, a 4.3" screen will make no difference.

I don't know what you trying to say..As the article said, the latest bug fixed 10.2 flash player can even play 720p video on browser, what makes you think it can't play video on browser? 10.1 flash player on 2.2 froyo already run video smoothly on browser it just can't handle 720p

Android is a genuine innovation. How many people can imgaine a mobile being able to upgrade itself with new apps and cababilities on the air? A platform that enables them to avail of PC like services on the move in a form factor so small, it fits into a pocket. Just imagine the tablets of yesterday and the huge premiums their manufacturers extorted from us? Compare this with Android, an open source modifiable OS on relatively powerful but inexpensive hardware.
Flash and power consumption are it's weaknesses.
Overall, I'm far happier with it than with my Nokia.
