Since you are facing 'ph. hang' so you can upgrade ur OS to 5.0.0.1036. but do make sure you store all ur data (on a SD card or comp) first before upgrading. Have an authourised BB dealer do it for you. I am still working on further details So kindly give me another day to find out about it.
As for me I am from New Delhi, India. & I love to explore phones my fav being BB. & sometimes flaunt my knowledge ;)

> In reply to Leena Johnson @ 2011-05-05 03:31 from 2Ajg - click to read Yes Leena my BB Storm hangs quite often. Imagine your BB hanging first thing in the morning & you cannot switch off the alarm. But I find Curve as the most convinient to use on the go. I had to get the Bold replaced when I first bought it but they did it quickly. Even Pearl 3G is quite good. Personally Iam waiting for the Canadians to sort out these small glitches in due course. Maybe OS7 will be silky smooth.

Maybe they didn't get it out for old devices 'cuz chances are the new OS is "heavier" than my 9700 with 256MB RAM can handle...
In my opinion, this is the best hardware upgrade they could have done to the Bold family, now let's hope the OS is stable!

BB never thought to maintain their customers, all their looks is $$, its certainly upsad their customer, which can't upgrade their older phone to OS7. Its a greedy company indeed

Yet again we supported under par products from RIM AFTER the Storm, only to get another knife in the back with no support for phones running OS6. They've had their last chance with me. Do RIM management have not the first clue about PR?
