Things are looking much better for RIM moving forward.
I'm glad they are not allowing an upgrade on the older phones. Better to get people into mainstream processing power and capabilities rather than try to strap new momentum (OS7) to old garbage hardware that was technically akin to using DOS.

RIM just needs to bundle a free voice-guided navigation solution in BB OS 7 with wireless tethering hotspot option out of the box and then they will have a truly competitive OS on their hands.

I think sincerely that rim is now in the competition. With this smart phone with it fast web browser I think the work is done and rim will never be relegated to the background both on form factor and the software.
Can't wait to hold one of this phone in my hands.

Why would you buy a BB?
So expensive yet do so little compared to the competition.
